My grannie worked for the Eliot's in the early 1900's as a servant. When she got older she moved to Cargreen and worked as a cook in the Spaniards Inn in the mid 60's. Later, she moved to Shop and lived in Bell Buoy cottage which is now a holiday cottage. As far as I remember my aunt and uncle owned all the row of cottages. Early evenings in the Summer she used to walk to the Bush Inn for a Guinness or two and then walk back home to shop. The Bush is one of the oldest pubs in Cornwall and has a very colourful history.
Oh what a lovely comment and thanks for sharing! Andrew has often told me about the various hauntings at The Bush but has yet to persuade me to stay there! Maybe one day 🤔 Sarah :)
The location detectives strike again! Just like you guys I get a small buzz of excitement to turn a corner and discover a filming location from such and such a programme. Bristol has been used in so many things going back to Shoestring through to Casualty and more recently The Outlaws ,and not forgetting Del Boys 'Nelson Mandela House' which I can see from my bedroom window!!Keep up the good work🔎
Early bird today...second on here! Very interesting marrying up filming locations with your pictures! Always interesting to see places where they film things in your local areas. It's a fun, tongue in cheek type detective series which we are recording to catch up. First show of the Anneka's Challenge series which has just started on Saturday nights was filmed nearby us at Foal Farm in Kent. Will have to pop down and see their work. It's a great charity. I know one of the original challenge's of Anneka's series back in the day was filmed around Wadebridge...I think you did a video a while back where there's a plaque at the site commemorating the episode! My favourites of course are when you did the Poldark locations. Fab. x J x
We hope you had a good trip to the farm. We saw the advert for the return of Challenge Anneka and we intended to catch it - catch up tv here we come! Sarah :)
Like the way you two sleuths found that location. Tried to do the same with locations from "The Trouble With Maggie Cole" and "The Coroner" when I was there last May. I only found the "Pub" in Cargreen. Then spent a wonderful week in Port Isaac and met most of the cast and crew of Doc Martin. Must be nice to live in such a beautiful place.
The ‘detectives’ are at work again with their trusty companion’ Baby detective fur baby ha ha!!. Well done - Port Elliot was a great location for this episode and what a delightful ‘coffee shop’ (lunch looked delicious)
Exciting. I just finished tis episode tonight. I love these filming location videos and I'm really enjoying Beyond Paradise. Now on to watch episode 3. 💕
Love this traveling around to fine filming locations. I wish I could watch the show. I saw the first one but can't fine 2 or 3. Thank you for all your work in finding the spots. I'm in Ohio.
Oh what a shame! There has been some comments from US viewers saying where they found it, on our previous video about Beyond Paradise. I hope you can catch up! Sarah :)
You both make brilliant detectives 👌😁... It's great fun watching these Andrew and Sarah 👍. I've just watched the next episode tonight and looking forward to seeing your next installment 😉. I think the licking of the ear must be helping with your investigations Andrew 😂😜👌💖
Hi Sarah and Andrew. I think you are right filmming locations for Shipton Park in Devon will be very short or should I say nonexistent that's seems more appropriate as all the locations are in Cornwall. Considering it will help to boost Cornwall's tourist encomany even more or are the BBC trying to do the same for Devon's one.
I like finding book locations and the homes of authors. Hopefully we intend to visit Greenways (Agatha Christie) Fowey (Daphne du Maurier) Jamaica Inn and Trebetherick (John Betjeman) in the Autumn. Have you ever done any walks around Trebetherick?
I definitely think you solved the mystery of Martha’s Cafe Guy’s well done 👏 I could commit murder for that delicious vegan lunch, nice to see pets allowed when they are well behaved as your’s are! I had to smile at Humphrey’s entrance dangling from that magnificent tree…just typical…the shot of you Andrew and your very attentive doggie 🐶 looking for said tree and finding it is adorable 😊 great detective work both of you, looking forward to your follow up Sarah thanks 🙏 again for another fun video 🤗
@@CornishWalkingTrails you did amazingly well, you put so much dedication and effort in all of your videos, I could swear junior understood everything Andrew said I think he should definitely be in movies 🎥 but that is very hard work 😓 besides the hard work you already do, so I wouldn’t go there it’s just that he is so unique and adorable 🥰
Awesome location and the food looks good as well thanks for sharing 👍.

We love Only Fools and Horses, still stands up now, even though things have changed so much! Sarah :)
@@CornishWalkingTrails Driving home from a night shift once I came upon a road closure near the flats. It was the famous riot scene being filmed!
I thought The Outlaws was brilliant and I did notice the locations were in Bristol. I hope that they film another series.
@@miranda4903 good news series 3 just announced
@@colinbaker3415 Excellent! 👍
Amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed this one! ❤

Cornwall is going to still benefit without doubt! Sarah :)
I’ve never watched Beyond Paradise. I will now!
One of the best places on earth.
Awesome video, but you might need to consider min 1080p videos.
Thank you! And just to let you know that our camera is a Canon G7X which records in 1080. Sarah :)
That was fun.
I cant understand for the life of me, what advantage there is to this TV series to claim its located in Devon.
I think another comment will help with that, it seems financial! Sarah :)

We have visited Trebetherick although it may be called St Enodoc Church, classic walk! Sarah :)

I was told film companies can get a grant when filming in Cornwall…which brings work to the county ..
Oh, now that’s interesting and would explain a lot of things! thank you for your comment, Sarah :)
