After butchering the annual pig, we will store different parts of the pig in different ways. Apart from our local specialty Crunchy Bones, we will also make some preserved ribs. Each year, my dad will make hams and preserved ribs himself. Half a month has passed and the ribs are completely dry. Today, I'll make a homely dish for my parents - Preserved Ribs Hot Pot!

I love that she cooks the food and at the end everyone comes together to enjoy it. I grew up in a house of six other siblings (11 of us in total but the other 4 were adults at the time) and loved when we sat together for dinner, especially on Sundays.

@paul w not only animals they are eating even insects and unwanted foods like bugs (found in animal poop 💩) cocroaches, silk worms etc. Even fetus soup and human placenta too. You name it you have it.. Most of the Chinese populations are eating like this.. (But I don't think Yunnan people are eating this.)
