- The last home of Napolean and the current home of Jonathan the oldest living thing on earth! This special place isn't easy to get to, but it is worth it!!! Santa Helena is indeed the most hauntingly spellbinding island on the Earth !!! Sub-tropical and right in the middle of a so great ocean !!! I would love to live in the island's home of Napoleon !!!

This is one of the places I want to visit
I highly recommend it!! It’s like no other place in the world! Even if you flew in for a week (planes only come and go on Saturday but they are considering more flights) it would be worth it in my opinion. It’s not a party place but so beautiful and lots of history. The locals will take you in as if you lived there!!

Where are people though? I read there is only about 6000 people on the island
Most of the people live in Jamestown but there are a few small villages scattered around the island.

You initially said that the fees to go ashore on the Island of St Helena is $2 ST Helena, and later on you mentioned that the currency used on the island is St Helena pound which is used only on the island. Which one is true? Is it St Helena Dollar or pound used as local currency over there?
It’s 2 Saint Helena pounds (I should have used the pound sign which) is the same value as the Sterling Pound. You can use both on the island but the Saint Helena pound is only accepted on Saint Helena and Ascension Island. I hope that helps. Sorry for the confusion!!
