I'm a conductor in Jasper and I was just recommended this video. The info is accurate and It's awesome to see my own subdivisions on one of these videos. Rich rail history in the area, love to see it appreciated by others.
I work on this sub division from jasper terminal and we live in Hinton. This video is best way to show our family and friends the beauty of railroad through mesmerizing Rocky Mountains. Thanks for this amazing video
Beautiful video, the long shots of the trains snaking their way through the wilderness is awesome. The natural scenery is magnificent. Like a few other comments, I'm surprised that the CN can move such long trains with either a single engine or at most a single helper. I live next to the CSX main in VA and most freights need at least two engines plus a DPU helper at mid-train. And this is mostly flat roadbed.
What a VIDEO! 18:09 you get a real view of how long this sucker is by seeing the cars waaaaaaaaaay back through the tree's. Half asleep sipping my coffee and could help myself from saying "wow what a scene!" Thanks for sharing.
I lived in the town of Hinton and recognize everything on this video. I lived in an apartment complex that was located beneath train tracks for a few years.
Sweet video. You guys need to get in touch with Danny Harman in Florida he does railfaning on the CSX's S line and A line including a few other railroads including NS and a few short-line roads.
Wow really need to one of your dvds. This is spectacular. Have you guys ever tried to make a DVD on CSX's Henderson Subdivision between Nashville, TN and Evansville, IN its a important part of CSX's Chicago to New Orleans mainline.
im going to guess left unpainted, because of the lack of salt in the area - iron forms an iron oxide coating anyway, which stays on as a protective barrier- also defects area easier to spot on unpainted surfaces.
Another great video. Is this one available as a BluRay. I looked through all the ones I have had from you and don't seem to have got this one. Not by the title "Winter Trains in Canada"
Great narration I really enjoyed that part, also no fancy picture in picture and fancy fades. I swear some guys are trying to be George Lucas when they make their videos. Simple to the point quality footage!

Really love the way you explain all the stuff. Just amazing...

It’s great to have a narration with the video. Not too many guys do that.
Agreed. MOST people do not have the voice or talent for narration. This fellow does.
I live in Hinton. Randomly came across this video 😆
VERY impressed with your work!!! Thank you VERY much for sharing it!!!
Thank you very much!
Wonderful video, but I'm amazed they're moving that tonnage with a single head-end unit and one DP.
Yet another top notch video from you guys. Keep up the good work.
AWESOME video from your area, Nice catches and spectacular scenery, Enjoyed watching.
Very busy main line. Probably 40 trains per day.
Amazing video! Lots of “love” from more south western Alberta!
What mic do you use? Great low end, doesn't drown everything in bass and picks up on the details instead.

Really nice job with this video, thanks for sharing this.
Absolutely awesome! Greeting's from Maine.

Danny also needs to link to these guys! I love his videos and explanations as well.
Me too.
@@paulkoza8652 Me too.
I just came across this channel for the first time because Danny mentioned it in one of his recent videos!
Great video. Just wondering where you are standing go get the shot at 15:50. Thx
Great stuff. Thank you.
Only 2 diesels locos on that double stack through Hinton. Was that train empty?
Probably loaded, 112 Comes out of Vancouver Shipyards eastward
So that’s why? Jasper Alberta is so busy? On 15:15
Incredible opening scene and video, well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! There is nothing quite like the Canadian Rockies for a setting.
Nice. I don't own any of your Canada DVD's, but maybe this one would be a good one to start with. Was thinking about Fraser Canyon as well.
Good video
You don't appreciate how massive this country is till you see it on video
Awesome Video!
Same place as the 86 head on collision
Really nice video😀😀👍

Hi , am I seeing things or are the "Tank", cars getting longer ?
❤❤❤
Nice, but why are the iron/steel bridges left unpainted? The rust streaks give them a rather unsafe look!

what Happen to the CP train on the right side?

Too bad you didn't go to the west end of swanlanding. There was a derailment recently and the wreck is still there pushed aside.
Are these 'mileposts' not kilometres, Canada is all metric?
Railroad still uses miles in Canada.
1:04 Canadia?
Oh Canadia
