  • Amp sims really have got to the stage now where they could genuinely replace your guitar amp, especially for recording in a home studio. But even if you still want to use your amps, they are incredibly useful tools to have as an electric guitar player, and I encourage you to try a few out.

    Great video. I live in a small apartment with thin walls. Even my Marshal DSL 1w combo set to 0.1w is too loud. I rely on amp modelling / amp Sims to record electric guitar.

      Thanks, appreciate it. I used to live in a one-bedroom apartment and got complaints from the neighbors when I played through my tiny solid-state practice amp.
