Indeed, you speak true. In fact, here is what I believe: Cinderella shows patience, kindness, mercy, understanding and gratitude to God despite all the things that had happened to her. She could have whined, cried, moaned and be all emo with the circumstances and situation. But she did not, and that shows true kind of strength that very few can even proclaim about. And all of that cultivated into Fairy Godmother into coming in on the scene, and using her magic to bring forth a dress and accessories that showcased her beauty that was on the inside! A genuine, real beauty that is apparent in the classic Disney ladies that made them so wonderful and enduring throughout the times, and it shows! And I believe God created an opportunity for Cinderella to dance with the Prince, and she took it even though it was unknowingly. And same with Snow White too! Of course she was afraid when she ran into the woods, as it was unfamiliar territory and she had just escaped being killed by someone she trusted on the orders of her stepmother Queen Grimhilde. Any one would be a mess after that! But like Cinderella, she did not complain or whine about the circumstances or situation that was put on her by the Queen. She kept up her special strength of patience, dreaming, hope, love and more. One does not need an external sword or weapons, but rather weapons crafted from the heart/mind/soul/spirit that defeat the inner enemies like depression, defeat, suicidal thoughts, complaining and other negative stuff. In the animated movie, she even prayed to God and thanked Him for everything that has happened!! To me, this makes her among my top five favorite Disney Ladies!! And that shows real and true strength and character that, again, is becoming more rare and hard to find in movies and in real life. All of the classic Disney ladies demonstrated a special kind of inner strength that sadly its hard to find now in this day and age. Most people don't even know the original Beauty and the Beast fairytale _was created by a woman._ 🤦 I like this new trend of people defending the classic Disney princesses, I honestly prefer them over the more recent ones. @@AnimaVox_ I find that a lot of people who give Disney princesses a hard time seem to overlook that Disney didn't originally write most of these stories.
I like this video as it shows that traditional Disney Princesses/Women have their own unique strengths that make them stand out in a way that is true, good, real and right! This is why I prefer the Classic Disney ladies over the modern day ones. I like the ladies from Snow White (original animated one) to Princess Tiana! Anything after her, nope. I believe that God made women different in so many ways, and not just physically. It was also emotionally, spiritually, mentally and socially so that the differences could compliment & complete us men in a way that we need. That women are a direct and real blessing from God, and thus should be treated like so by us men. That each has something to give, and a special kind of strength from within the heart/mind/soul/spirit that makes them beautiful, worthwhile & also worth pursing for the life-run! God made man and woman to come together beautifully and wonderfully, by His Design, Plan, Purpose and Truth. For each to compliment and complete the other in subtle and obvious ways, with a special kind of contrasting that brings spice and a good kind of difference that keeps things interesting and flowing for both parties. And also to instill in their children when the time comes for the next generation to be brought forth. We really need to go back to God and His Truth concerning this, and I really hope that Disney gets back to how real women are. Not this toxic forcefulness that is being done now. And also try to not sneak in toxic nonsense in a sneaky, subtle way. I prefer and take the classic and real Disney ladies from the past, not the modern-day toxic junk that has been forced on women and other characters that Disney has put up since 2012!
Cinderella and all of the other princesses, the princes weren't even their first thought. They were like an excuse to get away from their crappy home lives and for Snow White to save her own life from being killed by her stepmom, who was pretty much threatened because some creepy mirror thought a fourteen-year-old girl was more attractive than a thirty something year old woman.
Oh my god this is what I hate in the live action beauty and the beast. Remake Belle is so damn rude. Like fr. OG Belle had so much gentle kindness to her. She was even polite to people that annoyed her like Gaston. Remake Belle is so rude to Gaston. She doesn’t even say hello to him. You can not be attracted to someone and still be polite to them. OG Belle wasn’t attracted to OG Gaston and was still nice to him.
Here are some human Disney women/girls that deserve to be showcased more, and also revealing how they bring that unique, special quality that makes a woman more excellent than what modern feminism tries to sell: 1.) Katrina Van Tassel (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad- 1949): Showed class as she liked the gentleman & funny ways of Ichabod, showed levity and laughter to the Headless Horseman tale instead of being afraid 2.) Slue Foot Sue (Melody Times- 1948): Was an adventuring beauty that rode a giant catfish, was not afraid to show her feminine side despite her cowgirl looks and ways, and showed confidence in riding Widowmaker 3.) Casey's Daughters (Casey Bats Again- 1954): Casey had nine daughters, and it showed that they were good at baseball just like he was! And despite his antics and such, the ladies showed a real balance of femineity while playing a sport that normally would be dominated by men. And that Casey learned his lesson when it comes to having nine talented daughters like so. 4.) Penny (The Rescuers- 1977): A little girl who showed bravery in trying to escape from Madam Medusa in a bayou swamp, faith and trust in God despite the circumstances and situation, and wisdom in calling for help the only way that was available to her, and smarts in coming up with a plan to escape with Bernard and Bianca 5.) Gabriella (The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series- 1992): She was an OC character, based on a girl who was a huge fan of the original 1989 film, but lost a battle with leukemia during the show's first season. She is a deaf Latina mermaid who communicates through the American Sign language, can read lips and also has an octopus friend named Ollie who translates for her. 6.) Brawnhilda (Aladdin the Animated Series- 1994): A tall, muscular blonde beauty who does not have bulging muscles, has a voice that is quite feminine and alluring to the ears, and acts feminine and brave when saving Aladdin. She is a right balanced mixture of a woman who is strong physically, but also wants to be needed by the man she loves. 7.) Jenny (Oliver and Company- 1988): A young girl who is curious and loving to animals like when she found Oliver, brave when she tried to rescue him, and also forgiving as she made Fagan her friend despite the danger he did put her through. And also considerate, liking the junk-presents that her new friends gave to her. 8.) Sadira (Aladdin the Animated Series- 1994): A young girl who fell in love with Aladdin, and was determined to get him. She is street-smart like him, sassy and spirited, gains the power to be a Sand Witch, and learns various lessons throughout the series she is in. 9.) The Bimbettes and Harem Girls (Beauty and the Beast- 1991, Aladdin- 1992): Despite their actions in the movies, these girls have potential and promise to become something more. In my Disney/Toho crossover fanfiction stories, it is shown that they can become much more than just pretty faces and fangirls. 10.) Ariel's Sisters- Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista, and Andrina (The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series- 1992): The sisters have their own unique characteristics in many ways, including personalities and qualities that give them immense potential and possibilities. And it is shown in my first Disney/Toho crossover story called "Monsters and Magic". And these are just the human ones, so I'll leave the other females who are villainesses, animals or from other TV series/movies to others. The point is that Disney made ladies like these back in the day the real, true, and right way. No WOKE or any of its affiliations in them; flowing and with dignity, honor, grace, beauty, love and care in a way that surpasses most modern day Disney women now. To me, these ladies are in the same league with the Disney Princesses of old. And that they are something that us men have been looking for. That they are worth fighting for, to love and care for in the life-run, to get to know them better for the life-run, and to do our damn best for them in any way possible! That these ladies make life worth living more for us men in a way true, special and real way that was design, planned and purposed by God Himself.
@@missprofessionalyapper Indeed. It would be interesting to dives more into Ariel's sisters' relationship with each other, their father, with Ariel, their people and even have more of their point of view about bringing two worlds together. I'm sure they had their own life challenges and character developments but we never really explores them deeply. They are there mainly to show that Ariel got a huge family and that while she may not always see eye to eye to them there is love there at the end of the day. It also shows that Triton truly have his hands full on trying to ensures a underwater kingdom stay in one piece, keeping a huge family together and making sure that all seven daughters grow up to be responsible and well-adjusted people. We are talking about two decades of family history to explores. Aquata - She loves her family dearly and longs to be a good future Queen for Atlantica. However, in one comic have her questioning her capability to rule due to having a hard time managing her sisters. Andrina - The practical joker of the family and also an athlete. Arista - In my opinion, she is the third member in the Royal family to be the most hot-blooded and opinionated after Ariel and their father. She loves seahorses. In one episode of the animated series, it implies that she have a secret adventurous side and could actually be lot of fun to be around if she wasn't so uptight. During Eric and Ariel's wedding in the original film, you briefly can tell that she is one of the sisters who is more openly amazed to see humans for the first time. Attina - She is the bookworm of the family. Despite being the middle child, she is the most mature and rational out of all of her sisters. Adella - She is definitely a beauty queen, boy-crazy and a romantic. However, it is also implies that she want to find the perfect guy which shows a surprising picky side to her in the subject and that she isn't going to enter into a blind love. Alana - Despite also being concerned about her appearance, Alana is a sweet sister who love sea animals and have her own sea garden that she personally tends to. I like to think that she uses the plants to make her own beauty products. In her episode with Ariel, she not only willingly involves Ariel with a outing with her and her friend Pearl but also look after her when she feel Pearl is putting them in a dangerous spot which show her keeping her promise to their father that she would look after her. Even in the wedding in the original film, she seems to be compassionate and empathic towards her father as if she know it a tough day for him even though he is happy for Ariel. Extra information: By just looking at her, I like to think that Aquata is sporty as well. Sure enough in her new profile for the third non-canon film, her hobby are water sports. I like to think that Ariel and they must had played some water sports together when they were younger. If you take Arista's impressive trap-making as canon, she might actually be the fourth most athletic one.
The sad thing is Wish would've been a hundred times better had they included the romance between Asha and Star because it would be the story of a girl who loves wishes falling in love with the embodiment of wishing and would raise the stakes when he gets captured.
I kind of don’t like how the older Disney Princesses like Snow White and Cinderella were so passive but I blame that on the time period the movies were created in since they never got angry at their abusers and lashed out at them - which I wouldn’t blame them if they did, it’s completely understandable and there’s no such thing as the perfect victim - and that’s most likely due to the standards people held women to at the time. I still enjoy the movies though, I find Cinderella to be very aesthetically pleasing!
You kidding? When Lucifer messed up the floors, Cinderella was about to beat him with her broom lol. And remember at the beginning of the movie when she told her dog Bruno to "just learn to like cats?" Yeah that went out the window when she pleaded the birds to signal Bruno for help. Cinderella is definitely no passive princess when her friends are in trouble. And she did stand up for herself one time: when she said "Well, why not? After all, I'm still a member of the family. And it says 'by royal command, every eligible maiden is to attend.'" As for Snow White, she is very gentle but can be stern like a mother. Example: scolded the squirrels not to sweep dust under the rug, told the dwarfs they don't get a bite to eat unless they washed up, and not letting animals attack old ladies (yes WE know it's the evil queen but she didn't).
Umm... Cinderella has known to stand up for herself a couple of times despite knowing Tremaine is a Powerful Aristocrat who can literally use physical force or her high status to destroy her completely. I was sure when she walked up to Cindy in that menacing tone, she was going to strangle her..... and as for Snow White, what is your option? Fight against a vain and power hungry witch with absolutely nothing to defend urself or run to live for another day. What is ABUSE without unfair power dynamic btwn the abuser and the victim? I hate it when people start lashing out at the victims but I guess its smart to just girl boss ur way to fight the literal psychopath holding a knife than to escape through an open window.
Remember when the father 'disappeared' I realised that the only reason that Tremaine hadn't just killed Cindy when she was just a child since there was no reason to keep her because she got the entire property and a high status so no one will question her (technically if u remembered the ball sequence every guest there cares about power and status and would not bother to lift a finger if anyone else was in dilemma) is that Tremaine is a psychopath and enjoys seeing people suffer from long-lasting emotional wounds. Also notice how Tremaine keeps making Cinderella suffer but gets agitated when Cindy shows either no emotion at all or smiles (which kills the pathetic woman to the core) until the very end when she locks her up in the attic in which she smiles (because if we had an alternate ending, she will know that Cindy will spend her last days suffering from starvation until her body breaks down into nothing but skin and bones) because her point is to make Cindy suffer because if she isn't suffering then she will be the one suffering. It is a internal war between her and Cinderella and only one will be the victor. What's the point of killing them so quickly and gain no satisfaction from it when you can just smile and watch them cry and beg for the rest of their lives? Cinderella doesn't give her that satisfaction because her optimism is giving her hope that things would become better and she won't stay in her broken state for long. Cinderella is alone and within the clutches of a groomer (Tremaine is grooming her to become a slave. Grooming isn't limited to sex object just so you know) Cinderella follows the saying that (sadly) people nowadays just ignore 'Be as harmless as doves and as wise as serpents'
I remember growing up and people criticizing every Disney princess for having a love interest. I think now is definitely time for another (good) Disney princess love story.
Nice video! What are your opinions on Aurora?? I don’t think Ariel is a hated princess, considering she’s arguably the second most popular one behind Cinderella. While Snow White isn’t amongst my favorites, I find her very underrated. A lot of people mistranslate her as being a stereotypical damsel in distress waiting for her prince to save her, which is completely untrue considering the prince is barely in the movie. I think she’s very adorable, kind, sweet, compassionate but also a bit sassy. She doesn’t take crap from Grumpy when he’s being stubborn, but still cares about him and the other dwarves. Cinderella is my favorite of the classic princesses, and its largely because of both sequels and her forgiving nature towards Anastasia specifically. She doesn’t hold grudges against her family, and eventually helps Anya find her happily ever after with the baker in the second movie, which I wish got more exploration. Ariel isn’t amongst my favorites either, but I definitely get why she’s still so popular. The way a lot of haters portray her as a “typical boy crazy teenager” is actually how Ariel was originally written to be in the movie. Part of Your World originally wasn’t supposed to be in the movie, only the reprisal, and instead Ariel would’ve had a song specifically about Eric and she’d do anything to be with him. But thankfully, Howard Ashman fought to keep the song in, making Ariel a much more complex character who just didn’t belong in the ocean and was much happier as a human instead. While I find her relationship with Eric to be kinda rushed, I still adore how he finds her odd personality intriguing and adorable inside of thinking something is wrong with her, further proving her feelings of wanting to be a human instead. Are you planning on doing another video about the Renaissance princesses or the non ones like Esmerelda, Meg, and Jane??
I LOVE Aurora! She’s one of my favorites! She was also very assertive when wanting to marry her true love instead of someone she was arranged to marry. I would say she is also witty, but I wished we had more time with her in the movie. I also like Prince Philip as it is rare to see Disney princes putting themselves in harms way to save the princess. I do plan to make a video about the unofficial Disney princesses and also another one about Disney women (not sure exactly who but Jane is on my list) Thank you so much for the comment!
I also love Ariel and Prince Eric's relationship! It was so cute! Also, out of all the older traditional Princesses (besides Belle), we got to see their dynamic more in the movie
Who doesn't want a prince to rescue them? I'd give anything for a prince to marry me. Like COME ON! He can pay off my student loans. I'm already like £30,000 in debt and it's only my second year T^T Edit: Ariel has ALWAYS been fascinated by the human world. Eric was just the driving force that made her decide to go for it.
@@missprofessionalyapper Exactly! There's nothing wrong with having a partner. It's why I love Batman and Catwoman. She's an independent woman. Okay so Cinderella is my n1 fav disney princess and beofre i start mentioning anything i consider the first animated movie and the third movie aka the sequel to both be cannon ' 1. Cinderella even with all of the work shes given she dosent even curse the lady tremaine and her daughters all she does is do the work yet she does the work while being even kind to lucifer even tho getting mad at him for a lot of times she still does the chores and and takes care of them and herself. 2.Having a fighting spirit a lot of times i see people never mention cinderella of ever being same like mulan or tiana when infact similarities show just in diffrent ways like tiana and cindy both worked for what they wanted tiana worked for her restaurant and cindy worked thru her chores as fast as she could so she could still have time to fix the dress and come to the ball as for the mulan comparision i consider the 3rd movie aswell cannon like i said and the way cinderella acts in the 3rd movie is complete badass even after lady tremain strips her of her happy ever after she still has will??? to go to the castle and does A LOT OF attempts to get her happily ever after back and then lets not talk abt the way lady tremaine used magic again on her so shed be trapped in a pumkin carrige of doom with lucifer and yet she still for a *weak role model* broke a huge hole in the pumkin carrige with her arm that wouldve defenitly hurt for some of us let alone then ridding a horse to save her wedding? and then having courage to go face to face with lady tremaine and the wand and having no fear??? 3. even if people dont consider the 3rd movie cannon and only the original then in the original she shows as much strength cause i know damn well a lot of us wouldnt manage doing chores every single day nonstop and shes smart aswell??? on top of that even after the mouse unlocked the door for her to escape she still decided on let me get the glass slipper so id do anything to prove myself. 4.cinderella is allways so misunderstood and taken as weak and not a good role model when instead shes one of the strongest for both female and male cause her message to kids teens and adults saying that fight for your dreams no matter what way in the road be nice and kind and the good will allways be with you.
Some White plans to earn her keep . She doesn't think she's just entitled to being looked after. By the way, she marries the prince, but that's not the man who she falls in love with. In the original The Little Mermaid, her goal was to gain an immortal soul. Disney messed up when they removed the entire point of the story.

My favorite princess has always been Belle and I hate how much she was character-assassinated in the live-action adaptation for being the "wrong" kind of feminine. Most people don't even know the original Beauty and the Beast fairytale _was created by a woman._ 🤦
I like this new trend of people defending the classic Disney princesses, I honestly prefer them over the more recent ones. A non-Disney version of Cinderella I really like as well is the Czech one from the 70s; I've made it a tradition to watch that movie every year.
@@AnimaVox_ I find that a lot of people who give Disney princesses a hard time seem to overlook that Disney didn't originally write most of these stories.
Belle is not my top favorite, but I do love her personality!
Exactly, the princes just came along on their journey. They weren't the initial happy ending
I agree! OG Belles was witty, but that does not mean that she was rude
Here are some human Disney women/girls that deserve to be showcased more, and also revealing how they bring that unique, special quality that makes a woman more excellent than what modern feminism tries to sell:
1.) Katrina Van Tassel (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad- 1949): Showed class as she liked the gentleman & funny ways of Ichabod, showed levity and laughter to the Headless Horseman tale instead of being afraid
2.) Slue Foot Sue (Melody Times- 1948): Was an adventuring beauty that rode a giant catfish, was not afraid to show her feminine side despite her cowgirl looks and ways, and showed confidence in riding Widowmaker
3.) Casey's Daughters (Casey Bats Again- 1954): Casey had nine daughters, and it showed that they were good at baseball just like he was! And despite his antics and such, the ladies showed a real balance of femineity while playing a sport that normally would be dominated by men. And that Casey learned his lesson when it comes to having nine talented daughters like so.
4.) Penny (The Rescuers- 1977): A little girl who showed bravery in trying to escape from Madam Medusa in a bayou swamp, faith and trust in God despite the circumstances and situation, and wisdom in calling for help the only way that was available to her, and smarts in coming up with a plan to escape with Bernard and Bianca
5.) Gabriella (The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series- 1992): She was an OC character, based on a girl who was a huge fan of the original 1989 film, but lost a battle with leukemia during the show's first season.
I definitely wish Disney went more into Ariel's sisters 😩 missed opportunity smh
Exactly! The movie NEEDED that
@@missprofessionalyapper It honestly felt like it was missing a character.
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 Ikr! I had to stop watching fan-made animation of the two because it hurts so bad 😭
And it says 'by royal command, every eligible maiden is to attend.'"
As for Snow White, she is very gentle but can be stern like a mother.
Grooming isn't limited to sex object just so you know)
Cinderella follows the saying that (sadly) people nowadays just ignore
'Be as harmless as doves and as wise as serpents'
more nonsense of those who haven't even lived through the terrifying environment, they think they can handle=more modern radical feminist nonsense👎👎👎
Like the other comments, I agree that that they were not passive at all lol they just had different ways of showing their assertiveness
I remember growing up and people criticizing every Disney princess for having a love interest. I think now is definitely time for another (good) Disney princess love story.
No thanks, we shouldn't want yet another generation of male-centered pickme women (like this uploader here) to become a phenomenon again.
They should have kept the Star Boy in Wish smh 😭
It was the perfect opportunity!
@@missprofessionalyapper Same--though "soulmate" could've just been platonic in modern Disney jargon, lol.
I do plan to make a video about the unofficial Disney princesses and also another one about Disney women (not sure exactly who but Jane is on my list)
Thank you so much for the comment!
I also love Ariel and Prince Eric's relationship! It was so cute!
Also, out of all the older traditional Princesses (besides Belle), we got to see their dynamic more in the movie

Okay so Cinderella is my n1 fav disney princess and beofre i start mentioning anything i consider the first animated movie and the third movie aka the sequel to both be cannon '
She is very misunderstood 😭 which sucks because her character is so iconic, especially in the third movie!
The original Disney stories are at least 400 years old. Why do people want them to age like modern people
That's NOT the point behind the feminist critiques of these films (I am NOT including intersectionalism here btw, that's a whole other matter).
Probably to make them more relatable to the audience, so that they can still make a profit off of these stories smh
Good point on Snow White not being entitled! It's crazy how some people believed that she was entitled to receive help and shelter smh
