- This is the brand new ESV Diadem in Black Calfskin by Cambridge. It is an enlargement of the Pitt Minion, and the same pagination as the ESV Wide-Margin Bible by Cambridge. It is an edge-lined Bible, printed and bound in the Netherlands by Royal Jongbloed.

I like the spongy feeling that their synthetic liners have. It gives the Bible a very comfortable feel in the hands .
Personally I think these are a bit overpriced for what ya get esp compared to Allan's and Schuyler. They are all are made by the same company yet the price points don't match up.
It's still a beautiful bible but should be $180 to $200 tops imho. That said Cambridge lovers like the simple luxurious design without all the noise.
Yep those Cambridge bibles don't like humidity out of box, unfortunately some will stay that way but most return to normal after they adjust.

Do you find that the 28 gsm paper makes it curl too much on the corners and sides?

Synthetic liner and 1/4" ribbons are definitely disappointing. At least it is edge-lined. I was hoping it wouldn't be a paste down for the money. Cambridge quality control is crazy good.
I agree, the liner surprised me, since they use leather to line the Topaz. Maybe they went with synthetic to match the wide margin. The ribbons are a bit thin and a little short for my liking, but they are much nicer than the ones they have used in the past.
I will say, overall, using this Bible daily for the past week… I love it! The layout, size, and paper make this a fantastic Bible! And you’re right, their quality control is great.

@@drewenos6603 Yes, Cambridge has outstanding quality control on their Bibles. Schuyler could definitely learn a thing or two from them.
This bible looks way too tiny. How big is this bible compared to the MacArthur study Bible ? I’m glad they’re finally making bibles with apocrypha that have the words of Christ in red. It’s about time. I HATE bibles with black letter text.
