I was never a huge Wonder Woman fan but, goddamn, this looks cool! It's a very different take on the character, but all of the classic DC characters have gotten a bit samey. Maybe a fresh look/take on them is what they need to revive them.
I want to ask, with the 'Norse Wonder Woman rather then Greek wonder woman', is norse mythology actually brought up or alluded to or do you mean just with the vibes it has?
You know what, why couldn't everyone gets an axe? If the 90's comics were defined by big pouches, then let's the 2020's be about giant weapons! BRING ON THE AXE-SOLUTE!!
Wonder Woman has always had the ability to commune with animals. Most writers do not display it. I shrug anytime I see Wonder Woman with a sword. She is as powerful as Superman who never needs a sword or weapons. The sword is used to make her look and seem more badass when she is already that without it over the last several decades. It’s a sign of a writer who doesn’t know the power of the character.
@@Louis-wx1fo I was commenting on the review as well as questioning why someone equal to Superman needs a sword. I noted it’s an attempt to make her look cool, but she has been cool for decades without the need for a sword.
I am so looking forward to this take and have been hungry for info!!! Many thanks for this video!
Come back for the next videos! We're just getting started here.
Diana has the spiritual gift to have ‘unity with the beasts’ given to her by Artemis
I did not know this. That explains it. Thanks for the comment!
@@MultiverseComicShop yeah, George Perez Wonder Woman vol2 issue 1

It cool
That costume should be her main moving forward. That Final Fantasy sword might have to go though.
The sword is pretty cool in the book though...

It's just the vibe. It's like Wonder Woman the shield maiden.
@@MultiverseComicShop Thanks
hell yeah
!!!
Is it better than the current wonder woman?
Current WW is really good. Hard to say. Just different.

LOL…Axe-solute.
Ares or Hades would look like to be her father if this universe is in hardship growth, no lovey dovey stories here 😂
nope. none of that. I don't think we even see our friend Steve Trevor.
I like the idea of a different origin of Wonder Woman... but I don't like the design of her horse 🤣😂
I’m with you!

Good job not judging a book by its cover 🤡🤡
Wonder Woman needs a sword she a sword fighter
She acts more like a sword fighter in the book than I have ever seen her. I thought it was pretty fun.

@@yarc9 this would make a lot more sense if she was in a sword fight, yet that almost never happens.
