It was 1°C when we filmed this and some hearty ladies were in swimming, full respect to them for their bravery lol. Beautiful beach and whilst there's not much in the town, save a Eurospar, Ballyhalbert is perfectly situated to many other places to visit. Thanks.

It's a shame they never kept a small museum there celebrating this part of history. I remember they used to have a Spitfire on display at Cultra Ulster Folk & Transport museum they could have easily placed it here. Thanks glad you liked the vid.

Wow, I want to live here!! 😍😍 Amazing place!! It reminds me a little of Anglesey, where I live. Great video and the drone footage adds another, very interesting perspective. Love the history and the music / song at the end.

Thank you so much! Yes living on the coastline of the Ards Peninsular would definitely resemble much of Anglesey

On my recent house hunting trip I did think the parts I saw of NI were very similar to North Wales , geographically speaking. I spent most of my time around the Limavady and BallyKelly areas.

I spent many a happy summer in Ballyhalbert (as a kid). My mum and dad owned a caravan there.
