I now got a tini tiny taste of how folks felt like when they said, on their deathbed, I'm about to leap into the unknown abyss. I'm standing on the edge of hell, all alone.
We know this one is fairly old, but it's one of our favourites. Landscaped, very mysterious and also works well as sci fi. Used in our latest video about Mars.

The song has such eeriness due to its quality of continually fading out, as though its subject always remains just beyond sight, out in a misty unknown. Lovecraft's lessons on psychology, applied to acoustics.

@@co.agmusic Hey man, old post I know, and it was cool to see that Bedtime Stories posted on this video, because he is how I FINALLY found it. This track has lived in my subconscious for years because of other creators, but Bedtime Stories actually gave credit.
This is the kind of ambient music that plays in a movie when it shows the aftermath of a disaster.

I have been listening to this track for the last 2 hours. It's so addictive and really disturbing in the same time. But also very beautiful. Mind really flows on these vibes..
You look around but there's nothing but darkness. You scream but there's nothing but silence. You feel around you but there is nothing to feel. You are alone, and no amount of struggling will ever save you.
This comment is based off of the dreaded feeling of drifting off into space with no way of getting back to your ship. There is nothing but darkness to look at. The vacuum of space won't carry your screams. There is nothing to grab on to and you will slowly drift away until the oxygen level hits zero... It's a scary thing to think of as an astronaut but it could very possibly happen.

I think this creeps me out because it reminds me of a lot of Mark Snow's work on the X files and other series. Even if it wasn't inspired by him, it certainly gives me that vibe, and I adore it.
I can easily group this with John Zorn's "Redbird" and Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells". This is a modern classic!

The eerie quality of this piece is that it audibly seems to imply something ‘alien’ and by that I don’t just means extraterrestrial, but rather something completely beyond our understanding & yet which we can note the signs of. Fully unknown, removed from our reality. It’s greater than us, a true mystery.

I couldn't even dream that I would find one of the most, if not THE most, eerie, dark, dreamy, track I have ever heard. It's the most perfect fit for the closure of a psychological thriller I'm writing, and we will begin to film with my team soon.
