- A compilation of the top 100 plays from the 2021 college football season. This list includes amazing catches, crazy runs, clutch plays, miraculous game winning plays, and others. The order of the list is entirely based on my opinion as no metric was used to rank the plays. Watch all 34 minutes to relieve some of the most exciting moments from this past college football season including Michigan State's game winning interception against Michigan and Jacksonville State's insane game winning hail mary to take down Florida State. If you have disagreements with the list, let me know in the comments. This is the first time I have ever made a top 100 list and want to know what ways I can improve it for next season. Enjoy!

I know this list is far from perfect but keep in mind there are thousands of plays in a college football season and it’s pretty much impossible to know about every single one of them. I’m sure some plays are missing, some are too high, and some are too low. If I didn’t include a play from your favorite team I promise it isn’t because I hate them. I understand a lot of people will disagree with some plays, but please just keep it respectful.
Edit: Credit to Harris Highlights for being the first person to upload top 100 plays college football videos. He hasn’t done a list for 4 years so I decided to give it a shot myself. Also thank you to everyone who left play suggestions on the community post I made a few days ago, that was a big help.

At 31:54, that TD reception was so miraculous that it enabled the guy on crutches to get healed and run.

Easily the best highlight channel out there. No music, just game audio so you can hear the excitement from the crowd/commentators. You show the lead up to the play, the play, the reaction, then the replay. Cant get much better than this

#10 is my favorite by far. The game on the line, 1 on 1, both players giving it their all. Tremendous effort by the RB, but someone had to lose. Even better play by the defender to save the game by literal inches. Also, amazing call by the announcer. Never thought I'd get goosebumps from a rush that gained only half a yard and didn't cross the goal line.
As an OSU fan I’ll always wonder what would’ve happened if our starter wasn’t injured

I absolutely love how the first play was that insane punt, some people don't realize just how amazing and game changing flipping the field is!

crazy how Georgia's season started and ended with a pick six
Just like in 2020 when their first and last score was a safety.
Not to nit pick but I thought the interception against Clemson should have ranked higher

Number 98 is the best example of tough hard football I have maybe ever seen

As a Sooner fan I love to see OU at no. 1. I think BYUs Allgeier deserves to be in Top 10.

I was at the the rose bowl game and I can tell you, I don’t think I’ll ever see a better game irl. The highlights were unreal
i went to the georgia vs ou rose bowl and the atmosphere was crazy. I would do anything to watch that game in person for the first time again

Can only think of 1 play that should've made this list that I didn't see, and that was Caleb Williams' first play against Texas where he ran for a touchdown. Other than that, great list!
I think people forget just how embarrassing the Texas loss to Kansas in ot really was. A 1-8 team beating Texas in Austin. Unreal.
Also a Kansas team that hadn't beaten a conference team on the road in almost a DECADE.

Yeah the smarter play would’ve been to bat it down, but it didn’t affect the results of the game and it was so incredible that I’m glad he did it

Treylon TD on bama was worthy of the list and I agree the KJ leaping TD vs ole miss was also worthy. Hard to get them all in 100. Great work putting all these together, and definitely appreciate that I saw teams I have never heard on here.

The number one play actually just lost yards for OU by being an interception instead of an incomplete pass on 4th down.
With how "explosive" our offense should have been, we shouldn't have had to worry about this conversation of it being a good or bad play

Great job for making this list dude. I do definitely wish Tennessee had gotten at least 1 play on here though, with how many good plays our offense had this year. Hooker pushing against 6 Alabama defenders or Tiyon Evans' 96 yard td run against mizzou both come to mind, or any of Tillman's insane catches. I totally get there's a ton of plays and it's awesome that you were able to make this at all. It was just a bit saddening to see our only inclusion on the list being the blown tackling play against Purdue. Still though great job dude it was super entertaining

#95 WAS A MONUMENTAL PLAY FOR GEORGIAS SEASON. If Smith doesn't house that interception then Georgia probably doesn't make the playoff after losing to Bama. It has to be top 25.

PSC, this was an AWESOME JOB you did with it! The thing is how did you go about ranking them and I'm sure there were a lot of sleepless nights figuring the list out!
Number 82, first I would like to say that was a hell of a run by Martinez, but I want to highlight the guy that plays for Buffalo, his jersey number is number 2. Notice how he misses the tackle on Martinez, dislocates his finger. Instead of giving up on the play, he ran Martinez down, and made a touchdown saving tackle on Martinez. That was nothing but heart!!
Wow that is actually awesome by #2. Made me re-watch that play and it was well worth it....he even went for the strip too. Never gave up on the play!

I watched the Rose Bowl. It was such a good game, although I feel as though Utah would have won if they didn't lose their QB in the second half, they were absolutely beasting Ohio State. Not to take anything away from OSU, they played a darn good game, it just stinks to see their skill diminished by an injury. People will always ask, "What If" about the game instead of thinking of the comeback by OSU or the great season by Utah to get to that point.

Oklahoma State’s inability to run the ball 1 yard for a CFP spot is incredible.
Like someone said last year, no matter how spread your offense is, you have to have the ability to run downhill.

This is a great video and I’m glad Georgia had some good plays on here, but I think my personal favorite Georgia play was when Brock bowers pushed through 5 guys in the sec championship for a touchdown. Even though we lost that one.

@@hayden6701 just like every WR should be able to catch a pass and run to the end zone at #2...no leaping, outstretched haul in, no mind blowing feet of athleticism, pass hit him in the numbers...I suspect that game was chosen because of the matchup...small Jacksonville St beating power 5 Florida St on the last play of the game.
AND a DB batting down a badly thrown ball in a contest that was, well...NO CONTEST at all at #1.
