The impreza doesn't need more power or torque, it needs a transmission that operates in a logical, predictable way.
Well obviously not, it has 1780lb-ft of torque lol
@@zoomzoom3839Subaru has done it again: an engine with just 182 HP, but 1,780 lb-ft of torque. A marvel of engineering.
ok
I had a 2005, currently own a 2015 Impreza (both manual) and have a 2024 Sport Premium 2.0i as a loaner (with the CVT)
Yes, the 2012+ Impreza could do with more power. They're slower than the '05 I had before.
I'm super angry that Subaru did away with the manual transmission the same year they brought the 2.4 to the Impreza, though. I like the CVT more than a traditional automatic, but I'd still prefer a manual. The manual mode is a bit of a joke, and feels like somebody that is just barely learning how to drive stick. Not smooth during "shifting" at all.
This cvt would make me nuts
Needs the BRZ 228-hp 2.4-liter engine. For a car this size and weight 210 hp is the sweet spot.
If they stuck a manual in this thing it would be 10x better
A manual without rev-hang like out of the wrx, then yes
Cool Ride👍👏🚗!
It sucks that most autos are CVT now and manuals are far and few between for these new models, I guess for the price point it's not a bad daily and having friends :/
Any panel/dash rattles during your test drive?
Does anyone’s new Impreza rs steering wheel seem like it’s pulling to the right a little? Took it to the dealership twice for two alignments and same thing.Wondering if it’s just me noticing
the haters are out in force...
Power seems adequate enough. Sure, not sports car like, or even hot hatch. But it looks way more responsive than the 138 hp car that I own 😊
looks great inside and out, would happily drive one in a few years. not a big fan of cvt’s though
It looks like a Mazda 3
Its not 1780 lb ft, its 178 only. 0 must be added by mistake..
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely no chance I’d buy this over a Mazda 3 Turbo hatchback
A boxer engine paired with a CVT, the ultimate shitbox
HOW DARE YOU
If only this was available with more interior colors than just... all black. The obsession with all black interiors (including the roof!) is so bad.
Yeah I Agree
Lexus lm300h đi

Goodbye ear drums.
The engine sounds awful
