Wonderful home. Attractive, plenty of functionality and, beautiful area!
It is a great area. The topography in this part of Waldo county is very scenic. Rolling hills, wooded ridges, rolling farm fields and scenic valleys.
I like your style, you are an honest man! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching. I appreciate the feedback.
Excellent home heating variations and hot water heating features. Great planning here. And I can tell their organized. Nice size, really.
Why would they sell that? It is a little piece of heaven!
Home owners did a fantastic job finishing this place up. Beautiful piece of property as well. Someone is going to be extremely happy here.👍 when all the leaves come back on them trees I bet that property is beautiful.
Thanks for your thorough showing of this property. Those that complain have no concept of property values. The price is worth it for the property itself. Its a beautiful property.
You are absolutely spot on. Not to mention the home is already under contract.
Nice place,great price
Nice property Rick with easy commute to Bangor or Belfast. Thanks for taking us on the tour. Great job!
This is lovely, why are they leaving soon?
Wow; thorough construction!
This house is beautiful and well built. Won't find that type of craftsmanship very often. 30 acres in addition to the property make this a good deal. Maybe sell off 10 acres at some point. Could build accommodations for snowmobilers to use? Help with paying mortgage. Plant fruit trees, make jams/jellies/butters to sell. Start a homestead here. Lots of great opportunities for a second profession.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
*United Country Lifestyle Properties of Maine* Beautiful home & property, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us around. GOD Bless.
Thank you for watching!
It's is lovely
Looks like the siding blew off the main house and the back porch at one point and was replaced with a different color, I would be concerned how long it was off and whether there was damage to the sheathing or even mold in the walls. Nice home but overly priced.
Window was removed and replaced with a different size. This was a planned event not an unplanned one like you imagined.
I can see different colored siding on the back porch too, was there another window changed out there?@@richardtheriault7624
Did you notice the siding is different on the back porch too? Was a window changed out there as well?@@richardtheriault7624
Like your videos, You usually show everything.
Very small house.
Upstairs is strictly guest bedrooms. No closets or bathroom upstairs.
The quality does look top notch. The location seems better tan average.
One level living downstairs will be a tight squeeze.
Well, my first home was around 800 square feet. My current home is way larger, but at this stage of my life is actually too large. This is a great floor plan that works exceptionally well.
What's up with the different color Gray siding there
The new pieces never match as they get replaced, probably from damage. The old piece fades over time. Shingles are the same way. Most siding is.
The sellers had swapped out a window in that area for one that was a different size. The siding from a different batch had a slightly different color.
It’s $200,000 overpriced or more and you would think they can at least put a nice new fresh coat of vinyl siding on it
Thanks for watching.@@thegrinch8970
And a 3 people that responded one was only on point the other 2 don't have a clue think people are brain dead and don't have it no clue what happens or what goes on it's funny
Did I miss it? I can't find anything on the property tax! Your website or other!
Taxes were $1429 last year.
That is one ugly interior, sorry to say
Is there a hospital near by? If so, how far?
There are two hospitals fairly close, and several within 40 minutes. The closest is about 15 minutes away in Pittsfield, then you have Waldo County Hospital in Belfast about 30 minutes, Northern Light Hospital in Bangor Maine about 30-35 minutes, St. Joseph's hospital in Bangor 30-35 minutes. The next closest is in Waterville, about 40 minutes.
Poor Maine seems to have gotten bitten by untethered greed.
Have you tried to buy a truck today? A good pickup is over $100,000 and in Maine may last 7 years before it has rusted away. This is a house that you can live in for decades. We are in the year 2024, not 1974.
@richardtheriault7624 Exactly. People are so out of touch, but have to complain. An acre lot where I live goes for 200,000 +. The houses are over a million. Not new, not on water, nothing really special. They're selling fast and people are paying cash. This is a good deal.
@@MC-342It is indeed a good deal and is now under contract. It had and has a lot of interest.
👍🤠👍
The price is WAY to high!
What data are you basing that claim on?
@@lifestyleproperties your never going to get that price, not even close! Its WAY over what its worth! Try cutting it $100,000!!!
@@TimHeim-c2yClosed today at full price thanks for your insight.
Very small house. Why a 1 car garage? For 379K I personally would expect more, especially in the middle of nowhere. Good luck with the price and trying to sell this. I think the owners think they hit lotto and have a dollar and a dream. Way,way overpriced.
Thanks for watching.
You don’t know much about the actual cost of housing and how it varies …
This home is on 30 acres of land. The fact it was insulated and renovated with beautiful wood. The pricing is reasonable 😊
Typical city response
Not one of you have stated you are willing to buy the property. So what does that say? Bull--t walks, money talks. Though I do live in the city as you say, I grew up in Montana. Property and very little house is still way overpriced. Nothing has changed.
Beautiful. I’m looking for something like this, just not quite as pricey. It’s just a bit over the limit 💔
Thanks for watching.
Can I trade you for my western MD property??? Pretty please?
Well the sellers really aren't planning on moving to that area, but you are welcome to move up here.
@@richardtheriault7624 I'm working on it.
anyone want to loan me 379,00?!
Dang, I wish they didn't use gas and an electric heat pump with a pellet stove.Seems like city folk might have this. You need a wood stove to survive the winter electric bill.
Well in the winter time they do not use the heat pump. They mostly use it for cooling in the heat of the summer. Heat pumps used for heating are best used during the shoulder periods in my opinion. A wood stove is a great method of heating, pellets are a close second.
It might get so cold there, you go to bed and a few hours later, your wood stove is out, not long after that you are seeing your breath indoors. Burrr. Got to use a mix to keep it warm around the clock. I had one as a kid in Virginia, and even here, mornings were like frost bite getting the stove burning, and then leave for school, come home, same drill again.
Electric bill is less than $100 per month
Well it does get cold in Maine, but one thing that keeps this home nice and warm is it is extremely well insulated and pellet stoves have a hopper that feed pellets as needed to keep the fire going. No need to worry about frost on your noggin when you wake up at 122 Wingate Road. You'll be as warm in the morning as you were the night before. A real nice home to keep the comfort level of the home to your liking.@@BrisLS1
Gas is a very clean and efficient fuel. The home uses gas for back-up power, cooking and heating. This is well thought out.
The way things look it is gonna be more expensive to live in Maine than it is to live in California and Florida. People aren’t even going to be able to move out into the sticks anymore. Everybody will be living in their car soon. 😭😭😭😭 Welcome to the new America.
We are not even close to California prices. Maine is about average for home cost in the US. Maine median residential numbers for the last year per MLS where:
Sale price $350,000 (change from previous period $-24,000 (-6.8%)
$230 per square foot
List price/sale price ratio - 100%
Avg Days on Market - 10
I live in Florida and real estate is selling fast in my area. People are paying cash for million + homes. Cars and trucks are selling fast at over 100,000. Apparently the economy is doing great for alot of us. That's my America. 🇺🇸
@isuzuaxiom9576 this is my parents home. The house originally was an unfinished and just a shell. A lot of money and time went into finishing that house. I don’t know about Maine prices but in PA you can’t even buy a 3 bedroom house on .25 acres for that price. You’re getting 30 acres.
Thanks for sharing.
