Courtney is awesome, easily switching between styles. She and her husband , guitarist Mike Stringer, formed the band in 2017, after leaving their former band Iwrestledabearonce, a band Tatiana from Jinjer enjoyed. Tatiana recently joined Spiritbox, at Louder Than Life in Louisville, to perform Circle With Me. (fan cam footage only so far). Jaded is from last year's EP The Fear of Fears, first release with Josh Gilbert(ex- As I Lay Dying) on bass. The 2 you have listened to are mixed vocals, they do have some all clean and some all harsh. More to try: "Rule of Nines"(vocal one take) and "Blessed Be" are mixed vocals. "Constance" and "Ultraviolet" are all clean, and "Holy Roller" ,"Cellar Door" and the newest song "Soft Spine" are all harsh.
They're an amazing band❤ I would recommend checking out their newest single "Soft spine", but honestly I haven't heard any bad song from Spiritbox so whatever you choose to do next will be great!
You haven't heard anything yet. You got a lot to listen to brother. They are an amazing band, and Courtney is absolutely the best thing happening in metal right now. Angel Eyes, Cellar Door, Soft Spine, Too Close, Too Late, Holy Roller, and so many more.
Courtney is a gem! It might not fit the reaction format, but you should at some time listen to the whole Fear of Fear EP in one go. The songs complement each other very well, kind of flow into each other, and share some melodic and lyrical content.
