They're called Chirr, and they're part of the "Starstorm 2" mod.
You get to turn one enemy of your choice friendly, and share all of your items with them much like engineer's turrets.

Idk if this idea's been suggested by now (Let me know if it has), but what if debuffs inflicted by items were randomized? ((Example: Tri-tip dagger inflicting slowness and chronobauble inflicting bleed))

Yeah absolutely. The randomiser mod is super configurable. Would be worth looking at for sure
When I saw the Ancient Wisp I thought you had the mod that restored that enemy type. I play with it on by default cause it's honestly a really cool enemy and I don't know why they cut it.

yo the random bands are from runald dying, i think your elder lumerians spawned as runald but without the elite effect

Oh! Have you done RoR2 But only Queen's Glands? I remember a video where you had a whole heap of em at the mithrix fight but I think that one was only yellows... idk I like my beetle buddies
I should like to recind my previous suggestion, Just found the only queen's gland video. Hmm, Oh! How about every stage you can only get one item instead? For example, you start a stage, pick up let's say a soldier's syringe, and now every item for that stage is a soldier's syringe. Or the item is pre picked for the stage, that sounds easier to mod than have all items change into the first one you pick up
OMG I kind of want that Xi now. I don't know about playing against it, but it looks awesome.
Here's a random idea for ya: RoR2 but every item increases your model size slightly. Makes it harder to dodge stuff while making item grabbing have a trade-off. Plus, fun whacky big model stuff.
