Yusuf = first official reason behind Déjà vu not being reprint.
Also, with Lewi, SYN attack become much more powerful. Genotyping in IG might be very good. Finally, this entire set is also designed by Damon Stone.

I could see Gagarin using Reconstruction Contract with PAD Factory to load it without having to deal any meat damage and that's super gross.

33:33 You cannot score this on the same turn as a Mushin. Mushin does not allow the installed card to be rezzed on the turn it is played. You can, however, use Dedication Ceremony to score it out.

Ah, that's right. My bad. Gene Splicer is still a good card though.

Assimilator should let Apex play non-virtual resources, as long as those resources don't rely on counters that are placed on them at install. Flipping a card isn't the same as installing it, and facedown cards don't have a type. So this is a way to get cards like Professional Contacts, Aesop's or Aeneas Informant into Apex, which may be a pretty big deal. It's a least a step toward improving Apex's econ problems. It definitely opens up a lot of options.

I'd need a ruling to make sure that works. Even if it does, you still need to find Assimilator and pay 5 then a ton of clicks just to play those cards. It's still a huge tempo hit.

It's not that huge of a tempo hit, hell, depending on how expensive the cards you're flipping and how many you get to flip, it's even a tempo advantage. You're trading the install cost of whatever card you're flipping for a click. You do need to draw what you want to play the turn before you can install it, and you only get one facedown install per turn so that's a mild tempo hit, but you can also set your board state a bit ahead of time by playing stuff facedown before you draw into Assimilator so that's not necessarily that big a deal. It's definitely draw dependent, and the sooner you get it in a match the better off you are, but it does a lot of work for Apex once it's out.

it does work, it's in the errata plus there is nothing against it if you actually read apexes ability.

So is this out? If so, does anyone know if it's reached the UK yet?

I agree that Cyberdelia is powerful, but I disagree that it's like desperado.
It fires once per turn, desperado was impressive because it fired with every successful run; you could get your money back the same turn you installed it.

Well, we will never get something on Desperado's power level again. But I absolutely think Cyberdelia is the biggest shaper equivalent to Desperado we've seen. Desperado got you tempo early game when servers where still open, but became much less useful later as you made fewer and more expensive runs. Cyberdelia gives you more money the more set up and later in the game you are, increasing your late game power as a shaper. This also stacks to give 3 credits a turn.

I don't think you mentioned that Upya is not unique; 3 of them out early, ticking away, can give either one 7 click turn or an extra click a turn for 3 turns. Could be viable.
