Actually the game you reviewed was the remake. The original was released only in Japan on the ps1 and saturn. It was a first person rouge like that used 2D sprites with a 3D background. The music was more atmospheric and the horror elements were more focused on.

Bro, I had 3 breathless tweaks and I STILL couldn't make the swim to Fitzroy until I realized that you have to swim slowly without pressing jump to burst forward. I didn't realize that the speed boost wastes so much more oxygen than the time it saves you in increased movement speed.

I absolutely loved the dark and grotesque influences in the graphics, character design, and lore for Baroque. I imagine this is maybe what the world would look like if the Shadows/Midnight Hour in Persona 3 succeeded in devouring the world. The gameplay also for me wasn't terrible after I got used to it, as you could make some extremely cool combos with the items such as the teleport spell + the lightning disc, to clear out the entire floor in one swoop. Unfortunately the game isn't very forthcoming about what you need to do to advance the story at all, much like an old school adventure game, and it probably necessitates a walkthrough for like 95% of the population if you want to unlock all sections of the tower.

for anyone that just play the game the second key location in this video you can get it early by shooting a charge shot while in the air aiming down,use that to get to the building on the left then do it again and you will barely reach it
