So, hope being in the shoes of a local resident here in Kashmir (without any religious discrimination) , if you turn the pages of history you will find only oppression by all means, to which recent civilian killings are an example. I am from srinagar. Sir, I felt like I am in class room nd history professor is giving lecture.
Excellent analysis. It is now extinct from the mainstream TV media.
Why GOI is being called Modi Govt ?
because MODI was great.
It was always used to handle civilians with "oppression".... Reality always.
Wt soldiers did was wrong. Posting soldiers to control insurgency in a Muslim majority border area is wrong. Value of a soldier’s life shud also be given priority. A plebiscite shud be held n Kashmir valley n other adjoining Muslim majority areas shud be made an Autonomous region. All non Muslims shud be asked to leave that region. Local police shud be responsible for law n order. Army shud only take care of borders. Now that we have seen multiple examples that Muslim majorities leads to sepratism (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kashmir), therefore voting rights of Muslims in rest of India shud be taken away. This is a solution with 0 violence from state.
@@vikmvc2446 with due respect, your statement reveals your genuine sentiments as human with a little revision as under:
# Creation of Bangladesh was assisted by India by all means possible.
#Creation of Pakistan was a mutual agreement between jinnah, Ghandi and then occupied British rullers .
#Kashmir Plebiscite is also a Mutual agreement penned by Indian authorities in the United Nations.
So, hope being in the shoes of a local resident here in Kashmir (without any religious discrimination) , if you turn the pages of history you will find only oppression by all means, to which recent civilian killings are an example.
Every oppression here is analogous and equally brutal to what British army did to India in their tenure.
@@kalabhussainFunny how you cry oppression despite the Kashmiri Pandits suffering through a geno*cide.
Also, Partition was an exclusively muslim oriented act. Most Hindus were against it but dalals like Gandhi didn't care. But when Pak was indeed formed,it took the form of an apartheid theocratic nation state that erased it's minorities completely. On the other hand,India was not allowed to become a Hindu country. It was never a fair deal.
It's like white people crying about anti white racism lol.
Sir, I appreciate the simplicity of language while watching your exposition on political topics on TH-cam. Also I hasten to add that your study room is very elegant and homely as well. Regards
Thank you, Meghnad. I'm glad you liked this episode. Thank you also for the compliments for my study...best wishes, Shekhar
People should Understand the difference between Kashmir valley, Pir Panjal, and people from these different areas. Know about VDC, know how much kashmiri muslims hate Poonch Muslims and why. Understand why Kashmiri Muslims say that if they encounter a Bear and a Gujjar, they will kill Gujjar first. Col AJK Raina has many videos on this issue

Excellent CTC episode Shekharji! Thank you!
Superb episode Mr. Guptaji. Commendable and equally informative. Hats off sir
All lives of indians be it civilians or security forces, they need to be protected
I am paying for premium subscription of TH-cam, then why TH-cam allowing you to upload video with advertisement..
Thanks for explaining this and connecting dots. Being Kashmiri even I didn’t know much about it.
Kashmiri pandit?
@@akshat11120: Yes. Kauls are Kashmiri Pandits.
No matter what reversals the Army Might have suffered during the past year in Rajouri. The army can't be doing this to its own citizens. Professionalism is the essence of its operations. IA should improve its tactics to fight this menace but retorting to barbarity will harm strategic goals. The govt was spot-on on this..Culprits should be brought to books.
Rajnath Singh ji is a outstanding and one of the best Minister.👍👌
Always a pleasure to listen to CTC Shekhar sir
Quite an insightful analysis which clears the air behind frequent attacks in Rajouri and Poonch.
It seems the most recent brutal attack on our soldiers followed by shooting and spreading the video of civilians has more to do with the elections in J&K rather than just a Pak sponsored terrorism. One can easily guess who all are behind this. Unfortunately the people of J&K doesn't realise who are their real enemies.
On JK , your analysis is good for amateurs , non residents .
Thank you for the information
Angry but no action. Cowardice of government like talking crap.
Being a kashmiri this is not just.what happen with these people.
Mr Shekhar Gupta may kindly dicuss why and how suddenly Rajouri- Poonch part of J&K has become so active resulting Army losing so many of its officers and soldiers to repeated terrorist attacks. Who are the local supporters of terrorists.
Excellent research, very well written and presented, thank you Shekharji and The Print team 🙏
Politics of votebank governs actions or inactions🙂
Brilliant episode!
Brilliant Analysis of the situation by The Print Team. Thank you!
Thank you, Aninda. I'm glad you found this episode insightful. Thank you also for supporting our journalism...best wishes, Shekhar
Youre welcome sir. Just a note: my father mentioned that he happened to met you many years ago. He used to work for Anand Bazar Patrika. They had an office in Delhi at Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (ITO). @@ThePrintIndia
Sorry sir you are mistaken, where its has been mentioned that the population of GB community is 34 lakh. They were just around 15-16 lakhs and we paharis were 14-15 lakhs ..... And currently we are almost 20 lakhs in population
Read my take in comments. I have elaborated a bit.
Great epsiode after a long time, imo. Finshed entirely watching a CTC ep after quite sometime :)

Please work on your delivery . The speech is hoppy and the wobbly head distracts . I had to listen this at 1.5x to avoid distraction
3 civilians were martyred and 5 occupiers were sent to hell...its cause of occupation
Beheading and mutilation of the body of a soldier who died fighting, by the terrorists is the lowest form of humanity and combat ethics (if, mometarily one believes in the jihadi ideology as combat !) . The Army suffered it ! The villagers who sheltered the terrorists to achieve this, when put thru the same rigmarole (however condemnable), results in the slap of the face of Army. Why ? Electoral gains and Political goals ! Is there no other means to setle the issue ? Have grassroot grievances been addressed by the Govt ? Will only an electoral majority grant the ppl with what they desire and deserve, as a condition ? Forget last 70 years, surely last 9 years was gud enuf time to atleast initiate some relief measures for these residents of Rajouri - Poonch - Reasi belt to strat belueving in the govt efforts and alienate the terrorist fraternity.
Did the Def Min go to meet the families of the slain soldier also or he has done the job by meeting the civilian NOK only ? Is is equality by the Govt and by the Def Min for his troops ? Scapegoat .... Army and its ranks ! Pat on the Back .... to the Govt !
Shekhar ji .... great analysis and presentation. But you ignored the viewpoints and shackled status of the security forces .... for the balanced views, as expected from you and your stature ! Maybe, next time !
Anger is free ,action is expensive 😮😮
What an episode. Lot of gyan received
Always insightful analysis. Take a bow 🙇
The main reasons was only heard of killed & slain jawan everytime & everyday but media & leaders louder & sound ended any actions.
In Ram Raj Ravan got nirvan in the hand of God so Modi has learnt that India need Ram Raj....🤣🤣😂🤣🤣
mtlb tumhra so called ram beygunaaho ko maarta thaa
What? What does it has to do with ram Raj? And who beheaded the soldiers first? Hai meme
@@PrithaBhowmick-cb1cz you said it up there...ram raj... instead of arresting those criminals they will beat their hand off on innocents and murder them ,what sort of bravery is this,,,and why you have to send your army here to get killed can't you keep them ....
Great Analysis
Its very unfortunate that our tribes people are killed by army
Generally our tribe is patriotic
and our army is not??? tum jaise log agar irl mil gaye na to mdrchod tumhe maarkr jail jaan manjoor h mujhe
same thing happened in nagaland... Mon district killing civilians. They take the frustration on the civilians
Everything boils down to Elections. J&K issue remains far from resolved. The issue is the army has also become communalized.
Shekhar its foolish to believe BJP needs muslim support
This was done for purpose to show the culprit that you may run to Pakistan but someone left behind by you may suffer..
Any idea how many custodial deaths by police go un-auctioned? About 600 in last 5 years. This is a Rajya sabha report.
All anger only for army?
Excellent Presentation
Why did they record ??
