Thank you so much for making this video now I fully understand how to do it for my Certified Nursing Assistant Program .We spent hours and hours reading out of the textbook and i felt so unprepared for the real world. You really did a great job and i appreciate the little tests.I am so appreciative to you tubers like you in the medical field.
Thank you so much Mr. Farquarson for sharing this video. I've completed a CNA course and preparing for State Exam. I wasn't sure if I was reading the eye level weight scale correctly and started searching for tutorials. Yor tutorial is th first one I came across and found it very helpful. I greatly appreciate you for taking the time. Peace to your day. 🙏
I had to go through numerous videos to find an individual that would actually explain it in detail as you did. I simply wanted to know how to use this type of scale and nearly every video left me with questions. However, your video answered every question thoroughly and quickly leaving me with no additional questions. Thank you!
OMG!! Thank you so so much for this. Am not too good in calculations, i hv been thinking of how to pass this on my CNA exam, now am so happy with your video I hv mastered it very well and ready to pass my board exam. God bless you so much for me oo! You won't understand. You explain Measurement and Height very well. OMG
Thank you so much! Now i know how to read the weigh on this scale. Been training for a week now in doctor's office. The one who's trained me didn't even explain it to me. I been struggling since day one of my training as MA. Thank you!
The best video I have watched for learning how to read weight measurements on a beam scale! Great job!!! Thanks for making a simple to understand video that is professional and extremely educational too. I would love it if you did the same video only reading the measurements in kilograms. I've been searching and searching and can't find any literature on reading a beam scale in kilograms. Thanks! :)
I have looked around in so many places to find out how to weigh and mesure height on a physicians mechanical beam. Your videos have solved that and are fantastic!
Thank you very much, I'm going to be a CNA this taught me how to understand the measurements. I wasn't taught this in class. But, this might be one of my skills when I go take my state exam. Its better to be prepared just in case I have it for my skills test. That you very much!
Thanks for this. Question: the scale at my gym has the number and a tick mark next to the divets, so the 150lb mark is a cm or so away from the divet. Does that mean the measure directly ON the 150 lb mark is 150 or the divet to the right of it signifies 150? It's confusing for me.
It’s difficult to understand without seeing the type of scale you’re referring to. Try putting the top and bottom poise weights to zero and see if the beam balances. Assuming the scale is calibrated correctly, read from where the poise weights rest (and ‘divets’ align). That will help you determine the areas to read from on the poise weights regardless of the weight on the scale. You an also test this solution using a light weight (such as 5 lb dumbell). Hope this helps!
@@AlliedHealthToolsLLC I planned to take a picture of it to show you, but alas, my gym got rid of the scale. 😂 I appreciate your response regardless. If they replace it with the same type, I'll submit a pic.
Some scales have that small breakage (i dunno how to call that) before the numbers(50,100...) with lines above them. So where would I put the lower bar? On the breakage or on the line?
thank you for this video! I am getting no training as an MA at my office and I feel so stupid. I don't know how to do this without the feet listed. I appreciate the help!
