- Suzanne Nadine Vega (born Suzanne Nadine Peck, July 11, 1959) is an American singer-songwriter and record producer, best known for her eclectic folk-inspired music.
Two of Vega's songs (both from her second studio album Solitude Standing, 1987) reached the Top 10 of various international chart listings: Luka and Tom's Diner. The latter was originally an a cappella version on Vega's album, which was then remade in 1990 as a dance track produced by the British dance production team DNA.
Vega has released nine studio albums to date, the latest of which is Lover, Beloved: Songs from an Evening with Carson McCullers, released in 2016.
La migliore della sua generazione ❤❤❤❤
She is stunningly beautiful!!
This is goddamn hypnotic
One of the great Song Writers in modern times.
She is amazing, above many songwriters outhere... we love S
Suzanne Vega, she is totally cool! I love her! She has much talent and beauty! All in Suzanne are cool! I've also rearized that her eyes are so beautiful, specially the color of them are maybe incredible blue and green! Also the world in her lyrics is mysterious ,poetic, nostalgic and has the deep meanings in it!
I mean, yeah, what he/she said
I love Suzanne Vega so much
Beautiful ...exceptional
What a voice!!! So sensual ..
Thanks!
Perfect.
Such a hard song to play solo with nothing but guitar and voice. It's so sparse. But goosebumps every time. If you lie on the ground in somebody's arms you'll probably swallow some of their history.
Suzanne Vega is Godness!
So beautiful ! Many thanks for posting :D
Love this song.
I love this sort of intimate, informal format in which you can watch her perform and kind of indulge the illusion of sensing her immediate physical presence. This was delivered so perfectly, I wonder if she was lip syncing? I've always found Suzanne Vega to be incredibly striking from the first time I heard her on the radio way back when. She has that eerie, sort of semi-sensual quality that makes you hold your breath. The audience and I are spell bound, you could hear a pin drop on the rug during the silent moments. A lot of music is kind of an acquired taste; if you hear it a number of times, maybe you get so you like it. Not so with Suzanne's music for me. This isn't that sort of weak over the counter drug, this is instantly addicting and knocks you for a loop while gripping you in a vice. She's a siren of sirens.
me enamore!
Beautiful Girl.. ♥️
I'd rather listen to this than anything by Taylor Swift or Beyonce. True genius.
