michael goldenson No really, it was my pleasure. She is undoubtedly one of the best singer/songwriters to come from the US. Yet for some reason, has not achieved the recognition she rightly deserves. I was fortunate to have seen her perform twice "Live" here in the UK. Both wonderful, magical evenings that I will never forget.
I love her pure voice and the meaning behind her songs, there is always a story in there. it took here a long time to get out of the record company she been and open her own, have some rights issues to get her own songs from them (bad record company/artist relationship) she works in low terms and make a lot of shows in Europe and the U.S. - I couldn't have the luck to see her in the U.S. (where I live now) the closest one is always far, but it will happen one day. seen her 4 times in Israel and in a couple of times she played an extra shows due to popular demand.
michael goldenson Yeah. you hit the nail right on the head with your comments about the meanings behind her songs. That is probably why she does not appeal to the masses, because Suzanne's songs are not superficial like so many so called "Artists" of today. Behind the vocal, and the melody, she always has a tale to tell, usually about her own experiences in life. This she conveys so poetically in song, and melody. Thank you Suzanne, from a long time fan.
I was already liking her works since the eighties , but I've becoming totally crazy for her with the amazing record 99.9F° . Thanx for this other video :-)
For me, a long time fan 99.9F was not one of her best records. There were afew good tracks. "Blood sings" "If you were in my Movie" and "Song of sand"also "Private goes public" These for me, were "Classic" Vega at her Folk Roots Best.
At least for ''Blood sings'' I'm sure that Suzanne Vega wanted to keep her classic folk sound . I've listened her told that in an interview .This song was about an uncle of her...
Suzanne Vega is so attractive, you can see from miles she is very smart and direct...2 very special qualities on a woman...
A CD long box! Holy crap, that takes me back to the 90's
Gorgeous artist with good voice.
Wow... she looks genuinely hot here...
What a beautiful and talented woman. God!
Karma has treated her very well , she looks more gorgeous than ever .
Thanks for posting this video of Suzanne from 1993. From a big fan here in the UK.
my pleasure

So gorgeous without even trying to look it! Can't blame Howard Stern for salivating over her. 😁
Loving the pants.
"Bing bong! Avon calling"
She was fine
Is.
every time I see or hear her name I can not help but to think of the late Lou Reed.
too fragile pure gifted and innocent for the music biz.
Posibilidad de realizar traduccion al español..❓.. (subtitulos)..

Goddess. I think I wore out three diamond styluses on her records.

Wow she is trying to start a mosh pit.
She so reminds me of Jean butler
Who the hell is Jean Butler?
@@garydunn3037 search her up, she’s a dancer
I love Howard Stern but his interview was so cringey I had to come to Leno
He insulted and assaulted her. Disgusting.
Anyone else see a resemblance and hear a similarity to Aubrey Plaza in this interview?
mt bom!
Family Guy had it perfect
Pat Kelly did they do a skit of her??
Yeah did they?
Or were any of her songs on there
