your review is much more better than most of big youtubers for me, I really like that you explained everything, pressed the buttons, and let go of the flight stick while pulling it down so is bounces(this helped me estimate how would it fell like) That is what I was looking for. Thank you Great video
Howdy. Thanks for this video; I just got the Capt's pac X and was wondering if I could use it on a PC with XPlane. You're the only one I've seen who really made that clear. Also appreciated the close and thorough tour of the elements of the product. Nicely done.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! I haven't personally tried it on XPlane, but from what I've heard it is compatible with that game as well. You might have to manually program all the controls.
The ™ does work with X Plane, and there are default control set ups for a variety of planes. As well, you can create custom profiles for any plane. Quite easy to do. The ™ automatically shows up in the pull down menu, so XP knows it is there and recognizes it. The throttle quad plugs into the flight stick with a USB C to C cable. I don't know if requires the stick to manage any controls. Mine is a X Box/ PC version, so has a switch to go between the two platforms. The extra buttons on the stick have Xbox markings but I'm sure are otherwise the same on both versions. You can buy just the throttles, without the add on's. They connect physically and electronically to the throttle lever portion.
@@GerardoAcosta-ox7ei You're welcome. I know I had a million questions about these things. God knows I need all the help I can get, so if I can help others, I'm happy to do so.
Congrats, really great video. One question: would it be worth it for use with Flight Simulator but with a more general flight, for example with "light" aircraft, such as Cessna 152 or 172 (…or for Elite Dangerous)? I don't particularly like airliners but I still find the equipment reviewed very beautiful and complete, compared to other solutions. Alternatively, the usual X52 (pro) or X56.
Absolutely! I find myself flying smaller planes more often. King Air is my favorite. I've also used the flight stick for Elite Dangerous, and it works well. It just takes a while to set up all the buttons to your liking.
I bought this last week. I haven't set it up yet. I currently use the Turtle Beach Velocity One and i love the the fact it has backlighting on it. I'm a little disappointed for the money, nothing is back-lit. I quite a bit at night with the lights out.
Hey man im going to buy a flightstick soon and im choosing between the velocity one and the TM TCA flightstick. What do you suggest now that its been a couple months since your purchase. I sim on my series X.
How do you lpug it into xbox and also what do you use to control rudders (if you use rudder pedals can you give me an alternative on the joystick somewhere) thx
It plugs in with a usb cable. I use the flight stick for the rudder controls because you can twist it left and right. It works well enough for rudders, but if you want to be more accurate, then you'll have to get separate pedals.
hello, did you have any problems when activating the autopilot? I with thrustmaster and controller connected when I activate the autopilot it goes into a bug and it is no longer possible to adjust it
fixed, i'm a beginner, no bugs. I tested the aircraft and the thrustmaster tca without having entered the flight plan in mcdu, so the autopilot did not go into managed mode. inserting the flight plan everything works correctly. thrustmaster tca captain fantastic pack!!!
The only other game I've used it for was Elite Dangerous. I was able to program everything to my liking. I'm not sure about Ace Combat 7. Check some forums to see if anyone has tried it.
I don't use rudder pedals, but if I decide to get them, I would probably stick with Thrustmaster and get their TFRP pedals. Thrustmaster makes quality products.
It works with those as well. You just need to tweek the controller settings in the menu to get everything working properly. You can create different profiles for each aircraft 😁

Thank you for the kind comment! 😁
The fact that you explained every little detail, not alot of youtubers do that
Thank you very much! 😁

@@gamingwithmisterpoopy also the trigger on the back of the sidestick is for making ATC communications for on the frequency they are on.
the triger on a real airbus is for the puch to talk (for atc) and it is not supposed to travel far

pls answer this
will the throttle work with 4 engine planes without configuring anything??

I did not encounter any bugs with autopilot. Not sure what would cause that to happen.

@@gamingwithmisterpoopy ok👍👍👍
Is there difference between this version and old pc version
Wish I could answer your question, but I never used the old version.
@@gamingwithmisterpoopy thanks , do you recommend the whole set ? Or tit velocity yoke set is better ?
I definitely recommend the full set. I prefer the flight stick style over the yoke because it takes up less desk space.
Too light, they move around easy, they could have made the base much heavier!
I have no issues with the throttle moving around. Occasionally, the flight stick can slide, but I'm pretty gentle with the controls.
Great product if your goal is to communicate with technical support for weeks and weeks with no resolution to their poorly manufactured junk.
