Yeah I can't say I'm gonna miss it. There are so many ways to generate extra/infinite mana in cEDH but they mostly fell into irrelevance in the face of Dockside. Hoping to see more variety in future episodes.
At @17:10, due to APNAP order, there was no need to cast abrade. brain freeze is cast, then the triggers go on the stack. rhystic and talion on the bottom, then the storm trigger. storm triggers first, putting brain freeze copies on the stack above the draw triggers, leading to them drawing from an empty library.
another thing i noticed is that you guys now show the exact art of the card that get's casted. i realized it with different mana crypt artwork! really nice but isn't this WAY more effort? o:
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG Why not ask any players to have their deck on moxfield with the correct art in their lists so you can find the exact printing from their decklists. That may speed things along
this happened to me not a week ago. My tainted pact, dualcaster mage, aetherflux reservoir, and the other card I named (I forgot what) was there and I had no choice but to exile my deck. LOL.
@@michaelcoy6 There are some other channels if you want post-ban content. The banlist came as a surprise to, well . . .everyone. So for gameplay upload folks like PWP they have to get through their backlog of content with all the scriptwriting and editing the games most of the bulk which would've been done before the announcement. So, not laziness but rather the opposite of not having their hard work go to waste. Which I am perfectly okay with, they uploaded an unedited without commentary game a hot while back and the feedback on it was negative and to keep up with the consistent weekly commentated and edited matches. Showcasing that they do listen so I think we can forgive them to not let their work go to waste by only uploading post-ban stuff with less-than-stellar commentary and editing.
@@michaelcoy6if you've ever done any activities that require a group of people to all be free to sit down for a few hours you'd understand it's much harder than you think (D&D groups understand the pain). For all we know it's hard for them to get together, so they play a crap ton of games with different decks in one day as long as possible and turn it into content for weeks/months. Sure, it's nice for everything to be up to date, but if the alternative is no content for a month, I would take the deal. If seeing content with the old ban list bothers you so much, don't watch any MtG content for another month to be safe
Not sure if it was a narration error, but when casting Animate Dead and Dance of the Dead, you have to target the card as you cast them, because they initially enchant that card still in the graveyard. It's different from Necromancy, which resolves on its own and then reanimates the card upon ETB.

I don't understand how you guys always open the game with sol ring> mana crypt > jeweled lotus > dockside or some shit like that and just get going immediately after the game starts. Do you guys just mulligan until you have a playable hand for the video or what? I get a good starting hand like that maybe 1/10 draws.

Not sure if it's new because I usually just listen to these games, but the spark animation for triggered abilities is a great extra piece of flare

Can't helpbut notice how central dockside is in these games. Not necessarily winning the game, but heavily guiding the games.
Hence why it was banned. Becoming such a pivotal piece, that reanimating an opponents dockside is a huge no Brainer.
