  • The Second video in looking into switches, pop bumpers and stepper units on a Williams Space Mission pinball machine. Part 1 takes a look at switches and relays, cleaning and adjusting along with how they work. Part 2 focuses on rebuilding stepper units and how they work. Look at the recent past videos on our Space Mission journey as we take the game from stored barn dust collector to arcade worthy gem. Thanks for watching!

Thank YOU! Glad you liked it. If you're new to em pinball or gaming, or just looking to be able to do your own repairs, I will be posting a series soon which will be geared towards complete newbies and broken down into bite size chunks to be able to put together the whole picture. Thanks for watching.

@@pin-monkeypinball3548 Can't wait, I dove in at the deep end a year or so ago with several basket cases (and the number keeps growing). I've managed to get them all running with info from various web sites, trial & error plus a lot of luck and logic, it will be very interesting to learn exactly what I did to achieve the results I've had. 😃

I'll look forward to it. I jumped in at the deep end a year or so ago with a couple of 'sad' machines (the number has grown since). I have managed to get them up and running using info from various sources, books, on line sites, logic and luck. It will be interesting to learn what I actually did to achieve success..

Good job! You can do it. I have a few (20+) and some EM games as well. I was having a friend of mine go through them when I found them but that got expensive so I figured I should probably learn something. Been doing my own ever since, but as anyone, I ask and try to be resourceful. Thanks again!

@@pin-monkeypinball3548 Seeing the stepper unit at around the 30 min mark enabled me to correctly rearrange parts that had been put on bass-ackward (plus a missing spring) on an Advance Unit, so you've helped to bring an ailing' "Triple Action" back to life. Many thanks! Now I'll invest in new playfield bits from PBR and replace the missing back glass.
