The cons of Regulation "A" are that most of the single player modes besides Time Attack were removed, each character has eight palettes instead of sixteen in total (counting Normal and Another costumes), there were less stages than MI2, and there are no subtitles.

My problem with most of the skins aren't the looks (they look good tbh), but the fact that they look like a completely different character with them.
