I dunno man. 2003 and XI were bangers. I remember hoping they would kept that fast pace speed in XII and just remember being more disappointed that it went back to the '94-'98 formula more than the game overall being a disappointment altogether! Oh well. I miss the Tag system the Ash saga put in the early games. Thankfully XIII is a masterpiece so I ain't mad.

Love this game. I understand people not liking the arcade version, but the ps2 and xbox versions are great. But the xbox version is best cos it's better than ps2 for load times, analog use and colour edit. But it didn't get a Europe release for xbox which sucks.
The game isn't bad, but for me, after amazing 2k2, it was kinda lacking. Also, IMO some sprite changes were for the worse, and I really can't get used to the new hit sound effects.
