I read somewhere the theory that Plagg's nickname for Tikki is sugarcube because she gets these mad cravings every so often. It seems very Plagg to give her an endearing nickname that's also teasing her.

Honestly, a kwami of destruction to balance out on of creation kind of makes more sense than the reverse. Pity Plagg's purpose is apparently to keep Sugarcube under control.

Honestly, I was expecting akumatized Tikki that Plagg would have to save with the power of love, but it is satisfying that Plagg is the responsible one, despite how Tikki treats him.

Personally, I feel like Sass was the unofficial leader of the Kwami pack(outside of Tiki and Plag since they are basically gods). Sass is the leader while Ways just has the most knowledge from being with Master Fu for so long.

La fette des rois is a french holiday stemming from 3 kings day, a catholic holiday. It is celebrated often as children in France with a gallete des roi, a type of sweet pie which often contains a small charm in the shape of baby jesus. Whomever eats the piece of pie with the baby is crowned king. This tradition is similar to the king's cake tradition during mardis gras.

basically it's a new year tradition to cook and eat a galette (which in this context is an almond and filo pastry pie/tart but also means like biscuit, so you can get boxes of biscuits that have 'galettes' on the wrapping as their description) and a fève, a bean, is baked into the galette so that when you slice it up and divide it around your family someone will get the slice with the bean, and that means they are the king! often galettes are sold in france with paper crowns and my mum actually has a little porcelein king figurine which she puts in the galette she makes every year.

My understanding is that Galettes are like king’s cake here in the US for three kings day. (King’s cake: Normally there’s a coin or a mini baby Jesus figure hidden inside. The person who gets it in their slice are blessed/lucky or a have a wish. (It depends on the person) But essentially it’s a sweet bread or pastry you eat with family together.

For the tradition: in France, first Sunday after January 1st (January 1st is a Sunday, then it takes place on January 6th), people make these galette cakes and put a fève (a type of seed) into the cake. Whoever picks the fève in the cake is crowned king (with the crown usually made with plastic, used as a decoration on the cakes), hence the name Galette des Rois, "Kings' Galette".
Marinette's family owning a bakery, it's no surprise they're on high demand, especially on the first week after Christmas break.

Granted, we've had hints that Nooroo is aware that Gabriel is using him for wrongdoing, though he has seemed more upset at being enslaved than at being an instrument of evil.
