As someone who absolutely adores Marinette, I'll honestly say that this episode was the first one that really made me rage at the girl. Like the bit where she’s Ladybug and Cat Noir shows and she's just like “sorry Cat, I would've come to get you, if I'd known your true identity”. My jaw literally hit the floor because she actually said that. Oh, so do you wanna know now Ladybug?! Wanna know his identity now?! Oh well, in that case...

She didn't actually meant it, she said that she will come if she knows his identity but didn't say that she wants to know his identity. It was more like "I wish I knew your identity but I can't bcz we would betray each other if we become akumatized."

Well I don't think it's accurate, yes he would technically have to kill them however I think Gabriel believes that when (if) he uses the cat and Ladybug Miraculous and makes his wish, the people will be alive again...
Also he dropped Alya's entire family including her baby sisters from above and they would die if Ladybug didn't have good agility or stop chasing Hawkmoth

(Spoiler) I don't think Adrien is a sentimonster. Why would Gabe try to emotionally traumatize Adrien into akumatization (Chat Blanc, Ephemeral) when he can just command him to take the Akuma? He always shows Adrien his mom before akumatizing him.

@@danigeo5673 No it doesn't. In Heroes Day Hawkmoth akumatized Nathalie without her having negative emotions and in Gabriel Agrests he akumatized his own sentimonster. Negative emotions are only needed for manipulation. If the person is willing to take the Akuma, then Hawkmoth doesn't need negative emotions.
@@strawberrychocolate9383 Akuma needs some emotions, Nathalie and Gabriel had the right motivation without negative emotions. Stronger emotions make stronger akuma.
Optigami reminds me of those Miitopia butterflies.
The thing that bothers me is that I know Marinette is still traumatized from Chat Blanc but Cat has been there since day one without him giving her a confidence boost, she wouldn't be ladybug because she'd still be doubting herself and she wouldn't have come as far as she has. I know it's part of the plot and I'm excited for it but I'm also hoping Ladybug will realize what she has done and tries to fix it before it's too late.

Or it will be like vopina again when chat deals with the akumas by himself and just uses cataclysm to kill the akuma and he leaves ladybug
I feel like if there was an episode where he abandons her to deal with the akuma on her own he would then be ridiculed and screamed at for being immature and childish. I say he's well within his rights to snap at her for being so hypocritical.

At this point, Chat Noir did not know the identities of Rena Rouge and Carapace, so Ladybug told him to stay there while she goes retrieve their miraculous. Personally, I think it was unnecessary when the villains know their identities and Chat Noir knows about the identities of other users, but well, miraculous logic for ya.
This annoys the living hell out of me! Hawkmoth knows their identities, yet her "trusted" partner who proved himself constantly doesn't. If we ever find out that Alya knows as well, yet Chat doesn't, I'm going to be so done with Miraculous.
Still gotta love how Ladybug manages to use her Lucky Charm, defeat an Akuma and Sentimonster Combo, take Miraculouses back from several holders in different locations, and then somehow escape a Sentimonster that she didn’t know was following her and that can phase through walls. All of this within 5 minutes, as she doesn’t detransform during any of it. You’re telling me that she hasn’t detransformed during a fight since Miracle Queen? Never went behind a chimney to recharge her power? Never detransformed in an alley? How does Optigami even lose her?
This episode, the writers decided to write Shadowmoth so intelligently that they had to legit ignore logic to make him lose lol. Still one of my favorite episodes of all time, though.

Also in 29:23, she didn't choose Chat noir bcz he's the best cat miraculous holder she knows and she needs him as Chat noir separately instead of him replacing Ladybug and become Misterbug only. Basically a new Ladybug with the same Chat noir as he can teach the new one some tricks bcz he's very experienced.
