What I thought was really interesting in this episode was when Tikki was trying to make Marinette feel better about Adrien leaving (pointing out that it isn't for good) when she knows darn well that Adrien is Cat Noir.

For the scene that has the close up of Felix as Adrien defying Gabriel, I think it’s supposed to signify how Adrien’s eyes are exactly like his mom’s. I think this moment reminds Gabriel of a time when Emilie was angry with him so he goes to touch his wedding ring, remembering his wife, but it’s not there.

Yeah this is what I was thinking when I watched it
I want to see a flashback of Felix and Adrien as little kids having fun together or pretending to be each other like they told us in the show that they pretended to be each other as kids. It would be really emotinal if they have a sad momment together in the present momment because they have grown apart, and seeing them super close as kids would be really sad and really adorable🥺
ME TOO! It came as such a shock to me that they hung out and had fun (though Adrien does mention the basketball shooting contests they used to have, bless) I wanna see all the angst of them growing apart :0

@@86thfloor2 Me tooo!!! I feel like it all started when Adrien's mom died and Felix's dad died. Then Amelie probaly stopped visiting, because to be honest, she probaly only visited to see her twin sister she dosn't care about Gabriel.
But that's just my guess on how they grew apart, but i feel like i really want to see them growing back together and start genuinely having fun with each other again, I would literly cry if that happened.

The way I take the whole scene with Felix (dressed up as Adrien) standing up to Gabriel, was that after Natalie shows the ring when she pushes up her glasses, Felix is playing along. He realizes the ring is now with Natalie, but he’s gonna play along so that he doesn’t make things look suspicious. That’s how I interpret that moment

And gabriel is shocked that he can’t control adrien(felix in this scene)because he doesn’t have the ring to control him natalie has it and maybe felix realised that the ring is the controler thing and is playing along
The way I took it was that Gabriel was reminded of Emilie when Adrien stood up to him, like there was a ‘fire’ in his eyes, and that’s the reason Gabriel rubbed his finger. I also took that Adrien isn’t used to being independent because he’s just done everything his father has told him to, and he doesn’t want to disappoint him, so that’s why he can’t stand up to him.
This is def the route they'll take if the sentimonster theory ends up false!!

thats actually.. a fantasic point. I REALLY, REALLY hate the sentimonster theory bc i feel like it invalidates adriens entire character so while it IS probably canon at this point, this makes me feel a bit better as well just makes more sense naratively.
@@juliahock5549 yeah I don't think Adrien is a sentimonster. Because everytime Gabby discovers he is Cat Noir, he has to akumatise or threaten his son in order for him to give him his Miraculous. If he was a sentimonster, he could just order him to give it to him but Adrien refuses each time. Also Adrien has lied numerous times to his father, and even in season 4 Gabby asks Adrien directly if everything is alright (in Glaciator 2), and Adrien still lies to him. Adrien doesn't usually stand up to his father because he is intimidated by him, doesn't want to disappoint and is grieving his mother..when you grew up used to listen and follow it's hard to change that, especially when you are scared of confrontation, traumatized and a KID.
Also, we know he already stoop up to his father when he asked him if he could go to a real school. So I feel he's afraid to ask for more, as if he had already asked too much of him, especially when fashion is the only thing they share and actual get to talk about together. So saying he doesn't want to be a model would be like loosing the only times he can connect with his father, and they already don't talk about it a lot, so imagine what it must be like for Adrien who only has one parent left and has trouble communicating with him...
The way Marinette does the last bit of her transformation choreography when she's like "the Knight is Ladybug!" is so cute

i believe Astruc said that Gabriel actually had a funeral for Emilie. so him, Nathalie and now felix know that she’s in the basement. everyone else “know” that she’s deceased. also that’s why there’s that painting of Gabriel and Adrien mourning in the foyer.

I forget if you guys ever discussed this, but one of my favourite pieces of evidence for the Adrien and/or Felix is a sentimonster theory, is the name of the episode Felix is introduced in. Episodes are always named after the Akuma or Sentimonster in them, EXCEPT for Felix. If we were to follow the title rules, then his episode should be titled “Punishers Trio”, but its not, suggesting that HE IS the Sentimonster of the episode ;)

That's why there are twin rings. Felix has his ring he took from Gabriel so he has free will which explains why he says "you can't but I can" suggesting he can't be controlled by him because he has free will. Even though he could still get snapped out of existence like Gabriel said in Gabriel Agreste because he is a sentimonster. The episode Felix proves this too. Whilst Adrien doesn't have his ring notice how in season 1 to Cat Blanc. Gabriel never took Emilies ring that had Adriens amok. But now that Felix took his ring he has to wear the ring to control Adrien and since then he is so use to just pull Adriens strings and make him obey all the time that he was shocked by the time he realised his trick wasn't working. Also I think Felix is aware that Adrien is a sentimonster because he listened to Nathalie since she has the ring. As we saw in that one scene when Gabriel was at the doorway. He did obey because he did have the ring. So Felix is aware that he's a sentimonster and that Adrien's a sentimonster too.

I just realised this but if Adrien is the sentimonster he has to keep Duusu and the peacock miraculous permanently. Otherwise Ladybug is inevitably gonna try to use it in a fight and either risk some randomer accidentally snapping him out of existance or she'll unify with it and almost instantly realise Chat and or Adrien is a sentimonster and thats hell nobody wants to deal with.

I can't think about another explanation than Felix playing along, meaning that Felix knows EXACTLY how Adrien is affected by the ring. Amelie asked Gabriel for the rings only to give Felix his ring and to explain the backstory to him. (Only after he was free from Gabriel's influence. For the same reason Felix can tell Adrien the full truth.)
Episode Felix was named Felix, not Punishers trio. There can be multiple people akumatised from one object, or from one object broken into two (Crocoduel).
Both boys can be senticreated. Felix and Adrien have the same design, even the same voice actor!
I never liked sentitheories about Adrien, but the reality is more interesting than those theories. Both are sentibeing, but also there is a lot of valid evidence Adrien is fully real human because Emilie created him (them) to be real humans.
They can't though the peacock holder can't make multiple sentibeings Thomas confirmed this on twitter so it's either Felix is one or Adrien is one not both
@@Neo-Queenserenityt2l It's the same rule that applies to Butterfly miraculous Every user must release their previous amok/akuma before creating a new one. But this is a case of shared amok. It's a stretch of the rules but it's the only version that makes sense now.

So, I think both of them are sentimonsters. I think Felix only knows that he himself is because his mother told him so. That is why it was so important that she wanted the ring back just so Felix could have it. So he knows his mother wants him to be able to make his own choices. Not control him.
So Felix might already know adrien is also a sentimonster and the rings control them both. That's how he knew Gabriel has to have the pecok miraculous still. Therefore he must be hawkmoth. But when he found Emily, he now realizes what Gabriel is trying to do, Felix now knows that Emily paid the price for using the pecok to make him and Adrian.
Sooooo, Felix now knows everything. Then Natalie forced him to obey orders with the ring and he simply didn't try to fight it and just went with it because he's still processing emilies death.
We all know sentimonsters are capable of defining orders if they really want to. But I think because the rings have such an emotional connection with the creator it makes their hold on Felix and Adrian stronger. But I don't Felix even tried to fight it this time. He just obeyed because he needed time to think on things.
Also, it would make sense that Felix is aware that he himself is a sentimonster because he has such a strong will. He broke shadow moths akuma on his own because he refused to ever be controlled. His bad boy behavior makes a lot more sense when you look at it that way. He is free to do whatever he wants to do.

Some people mess around with jewelry when they are nervous or processing something. So I honestly think Gabriel is just shook, realizing just how angry his son must be to actually say anything, and him realizing that Adrien is getting older and wants more control over his life. That being said the ring shot might have been him realizing his ring and his wife aren't their to comfort and help him during this moment and then Natalie, with the ring, steps in to help him. Also did anyone else realize that when Shadowmoth has his meditation moment you can hear Mr. Pigeon being upset, luckly he didn't choose that one again for the finally lol.

So, for a hot moment -when Gabriel said 'Adrian! I'm your father, and I'm telling you... to... *gasp!* ' - It occurred to me that (wild speculation) back when Gabriel had that black & white ball, he told Felix he could retaliate, but it would hurt Amelie. Felix challenged him then, but what if... Gabriel just realized it's *not* Felix who is the sinit-born being, but Adrian. Was he guessing at which one was sinti-born and got it wrong? Or is it just he realized he doesn't have the ring and there for no control. I am so looking forward to how this all plays out!

Even if it's because of Risk I love Kagami's behavior in this ep. In contrast to Marinette, she's "in the same shoes" as Adrien so - in my opiniom - it's very important that Kagami makes a call for him.
And Plagg... I luv so many charakters of ML but this camember-obsessed kwami is my personally No.1 Hero of whole series. His compassion, understanding, loyalty and breaking the rules when it's nessesery touch my heart🖤 Dang, I wish I had Plagg in my own life🖤🖤🖤

I like how in this episode, Plagg says that if Adrien were to talk to his father, he would maybe discover a side of him he didn't know. Then, when Felix stands up to Gabby, we see that Gabriel hesitates and touches his finger where Emilie's ring used to be because Adriens'(Felix's) eyes remind him of her. And Nathalie picks up on his change of emotion and gives the order instead (and Felix agrees because he wants to get the heck out of here now that he thinks he has the miraculous and saw his dead aunt in the basement). I love that they actually show us that if Adrien were to stand up against his father, Gabriel wouldn't be able to say no to him.

I’m going with a theory that both boys are sentimonsters. Yeah their mom’s are identical but the fact they brought up in earlier episodes how identical the boys are is strange. Genetically, they SHOULDN’T be identical. Different fathers means different genes.
So, I’m thinking…two rings = two boys? Which is why Gabriel refused to give up even one of them.

Honestly I have a lot to say about this one , One of them being is that the twin rings have some secret power that helps you persuade the person your talking to and it would make sense as to how they made it that far in the industry especially for Gabriel not saying he's designs aren't good but that's what they are at best and like I said I feel like him holding on to that ring when he's being stern to Adrien is a comfort thing for him like maybe him telling himself that he's doing this for his family , but going back to the twin rings holding some kinda persuasive power if Amelie has told Felix about the power of the twin rings and how to repel the power maybe that's why he isn't affected and just played along with Natalie so I really don't believe Adrien is a sentimonster it Felix on that note.
And like I've said before if Adrien and Felix where sentimonsters then Amalie would have to know who shadow-moth is because she would know about the miraculouses .
And honestly I also believe that Adrien and Felix are twins birthed by Emelie I'm guessing Amalie couldn't have kids and Emelie being a loving sister maybe decided to let go of Felix and some how he found out because he is very hostile towards Adrien I would say even a little jealous and it can't just be because Adrien didn't show up to his dad's funeral you would assume he knows how Gabriel is right? And what hints this to me is the episode in Wich we meet Felix and he sees Emelies portrait is a little more lovingly than that of the love of a nephew and you see him get that same look every time hes alone with Emelies portrait but that's just me sorry for this long thory or theories 👁️👄👁️ sorry..

@@86thfloor2 🙌 right me too I just feel at this point him being a sentimonster is a bit too obvious and Thomas did put some lore behind the twin rings to be a bit more than just amoks and like I said Felix being a sentimonster Amalie would have to be in the know about Miraculouses by extension know who show moth is and I'm super close to one of my aunt's but I don't think I've ever looked at her (or the picture of her) the way Felix does with Emelie and it would explain a bit better why he seems to hate Adrien(like I said maybe in the beginning he'd be mad at Adrien for missing his dad's funeral but he should be over it by now right?) as he does see himself as superior to Adrien I can only imagine him asking himself why him not me(when it was just chance) that is of course if they're twin twins

I had such feels for CN/Adrian in this one. OK, here is my theory: Neither Adrian nor Felix are senti-monsters. But the silver ring has magical control powers. One controls Adrian and one controls Felix.that is why Gabriel wants to get the ring back from Felix so bad, so he can control Felix too. Felix knows about the rings, which is why he says Adrian can stand up to Gabriel but he can. Also, since he knows about the rings, he plays along when he sees Nattile is wearing the ring.
That's a very good theory! I'd be very interested to know what the lore behind such rings would be. Perhaps an offshoot of the peacock miraculous power?

in my opinion, alya's not wrong, it's just that it's a bit out of her character this time, she always helps marinette no matter how bad it is,but I have to agree with ayla we can't go too far, risk and mess with other people's lives, just like the kagami said Adrien needs to stand up for his own life, because no one can save Adrien, Only him can do that, whether it's ladybug or marinette no matter how hard they try, Adrien will obey Gabriel no matter what. Sadly, that's true. All Marinette's previous plans were to confess, to ask Adrien on a date, this is a plan to ruin Gabriel's campaign worth of million euros without evidence that Adrien hates it. Marinette was late to school, she wasn't there when they said their farewell to Adrien who pretended that he doesn't mind leaving. They have no reason to trust Marinette's words over their own experience that is different.

Personally, and i am assuming a bunch of things with this guess, I think that adrien and felix were created with kind of like twin amoks so any of the two rings can control either of them. that is why amelie wanted both rings back so badly in the felix episode, because she knew that as long as gabriel had one of them he could control and pretty much snap her son out of existence (back to the very specific threat gabriel made to felix on the gabriel agreste episode). i also think that by this episode felix is aware that he and adrien are sentimonsters, but because he already has the ring that his mother gave him he thinks he is already in control of himself (“you cant disobey your father but i can”)

Another theory is that Gabriel's ring controls Felix and Emilie's ring controls Adrien. So in the episode 'Felix', he steals Gabriel's ring and he has not given it back to Gabriel as seen in Gabriel Agreste. So now since he has the ring, Felix is free and is in full control of himself. This might be the reason why he says to Adrien, "You can't but I can" in Risk.
After Felix steals his ring, Gabriel started wearing Emilie's ring and that is the point from which we start to see him rub his ring and 'control' Adrien. ( Because in Cat Blanc, which happens before Felix, Gabriel didn't control Adrien when he was resisting the akumatization as he was wearing the ring that controls Felix. But we see him control Adrien when he was resisting the akumatization in Ephemeral )
Also when Felix in disguise of Adrien stands up to Gabriel, Gabriel is so used to controlling Adrien that he automatically started rubbing his finger forgetting that he gave his ring to Natalie. This may be why he was so surprised to see Adrien standing up to himself. Also Felix is playing along when Natalie tells him it's time to leave.
P.S I am not a fan of Adrien being a sentimonster but there's just so many evidence 😢

What I think is that the rings have a sort of a spell to protect Adrien, and this spell makes the person obey him no matter what, and what if Emilie was a miraculous holder (not necessarily of the peacock miraculous) and when Gabriel and Emilie had Adrien, a villain threatened Emilie to harm his own son, so to protect him, Gabriel and Emilie searched the help of Natalie, who helped them look for master fu, so that's why they went to the Tibet and found the miraculous of the peacock, and to make sure Adrien was safe Emilie decided to cast a spell on one of the rings and with the other she decided to make Felix (a sentimonster) a copy of Adrien and told his sister to take care of Felix, so if the enemy was looking for Adrien in London, Felix could deceive him, and maybe Emilie casted a spell on one of the rings and with the other she used the peacock miracolous to make felix a sentimonster. :O

About that stutter of Gabriel's this is why I think: He went:Adrien im telling you t- t- to,and then he scratches the wedding ring finger but he gave the ring to Natalie and as you said about the ring and the son Adrien is connected to the ring so that's why Adrien always listens to him,because he has the ring on,but when Emilie created Adrien Amelie (the sister) wanted a child too so made Felix but connected it to the same object which was the ring so she hoped it would make them close,and it did until teenage years and now they're complete opposites but Natalie now has the ring on so even though Felix didn't listen to Gabriel he had to listen to Natalie since she had the ring on. (Remember this is just my theory Adrien and Felix might not even be senti-monsters but hey you never know it could be a possibility)
