Hello Please can you tell how to import an animation from Mixamo to Maya with the skin and then scale the character down to size. I tried to scale it but the Skelton and skin separates
When I tried that just the skeleton imported without the skin. Then I tried to import with the skin to see if I could attach the two but no success. What is it that I am doing wrong?
@@blueb03 Okay, it scaled down. But I have to make it smaller because of scene. Thats when you see the IK controller around him then when I click play the character is above the grid and will not stay in place.
it works fine but is there a way to have the keyframes of both clips back on the time slider ? because i want to export to cinema 4d and it the animation clips are not exported this way. it has to be keyframed
How can I edit the animation clips in the Trax? I combined 3 and number 3 is broken. When I reopen the trax editor, its all empty, the clips nowhere to be found.
thanks for the tutorial but there is a problem. i downloaded some mixamo animations one of it is a walking animation and the other is a fighting pose. i didi everthing in this video but the model walks then it return back to center position and do the fighting pose. i want the model to continue the fighting pose where the walking animation stops instead of the model to go back to origin center position when the walking animation clip stop.
my 2 animations clips have different positions at the beginning of their key(one is near and one is far) so when i merged the 2 the transition is like the character slides far away, How do i reposition the the model and its keyframes?
Before exporting the second animation clip in trax editor make sure to edit the starting position of the character close to the ending position of the first anim clip..

@@eduardoziegler9557 you can run the mixamo control rig script for having automatic controls of the mixamo joints to have a finer animation or you can animate directly on the bones with Animation layers

You can create blendshapes and make lip movement if you want.

Bake your keys.. Check the animation while exporting.

try baking the animation

If you add new vertices to the model make sure you re-skin the rig..
