  • Hwange National Park is a gem of natural beauty and biodiversity. Its allure lies not only in its abundant wildlife but also in its stunning landscapes. During the first part of my safari in the park I travelled all the Northern part and its vast savannas and expansive grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see, providing a classic African safari backdrop. These open spaces are ideal for spotting large herds of animals, especially during the dry season. But not everything are grasslands in Hwange. Huge parts of the park are teak woodlands and mopane forests. These areas are home to a variety of bird species and smaller mammals, adding to the park's ecological richness. Natural and man-made waterholes dot the landscape, attracting wildlife and offering prime game-viewing opportunities. Watching elephants, buffalo, and other animals gather around these water sources is a quintessential Hwange experience. In addition to the Big Five, Hwange hosts giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species, like the endangered Sable and Roan Antelopes. Follow me from Robin's camp gate to Reedbuck vlei, and from the Deka River to Detema waterhole on a memorable safari.

Man, you live a very exciting life. The kind of life i wish for. I love the outdoors and wildlife.
Happy to see there is water in Hwange. I hope we continue to do more as a country to improve this and many of our national parks.

i enjoy your videos showing a completely different side to Zim never shown. The roads in the North look amazing compared to "scenic drive" in the Eastern Highlands

Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm glad that you liked them. Northern and Eastern Zimbabwe seem two completely different countries, but I loved them both.
