You could get very precise with your boundaries zig zags, rounds, squares, It Should follow it exactly how you do it, I can test this! It's been brought up to the developer that it would be awesome if we could do lawn art like make a boundary that looks like the Batman symbol 😂 I'm sure that's not high on their priority list
I love the idea of more basic videos. I would love to see one where you join to connecting zones like the front yard. I have 2 zones in my front yard and I get "boundary too complex" errors when I try to make the boundary between the two line up straight!
For me, While cutting under the trees is best to Increase the speed and turn the sensitivity down one from high. That way it will be back in the open b4 the signal is lost....
Good luck! The best advice I could give would be just install the RTK antenna somewhere with the most open view. The more satellites it receives the better things will be.
Still stuck with a brand new dead mower. If they ship a new one today, I won’t get it until the end of summer, at best. I feel like I have been defrauded
They need to offer a way to define a diameter rather than driving Luba around a no-mow zone. Also an option to filter boundry lines to smooth out the jaggy lines created when driving it. Every little jig and jag eats up memory. I can't get but about 3500m² out of my 5000m² Lubas so I'm all for savings memory!
Yeah I plan to cover all the things in short tutorial videos. I've already shown how to do all this in longer videos but it's buried in the middle somewhere I'm just going to make short videos that people can search for

Well it does do a border cut and you can get really close but I don't see how they could say no need to manually trim even if you're scraping the wall it's still going to be a few inches away from the blade

Question, my new Luba 5000 came with Omni front wheels. I keep thinking that it is a packing and labeling mistake. I have not setup any zones yet then i will be able to figure out maximum areas. Was your new Luba for your house a Luba 5000 but with Omni wheels?
No, my Omni is a 3000. All LUBAs are coming with omni wheels now so all models will look the same, 5000 will have a higher top mowing speed and more area.
@@Crazypostman thank you for commenting, When I ordered it, which was only several weeks ago the website had shown it with the old wheels. I know on your hillside video test comparing each other you talked about the pros and cons of their abilities. Esthetically I would have still preferred the wide front wheels only for that Indy car look lol
Technically there is a limit but it's not defined by an exact number. Luba will eventually run out of memory space if you have an extremely complicated yard, But that number is more than a dozen.

As long as your zones overlap You don't have to make a channel.

I only have pauses when it's near the house or right next to the tree trunk I guess my tree canopy is thin enough to not cause much problems.

@@Crazypostman Thanks. So turning the knives makes sense. eg. With the Worx Landroid, the direction of rotation changes after each disk stop

Does it (she?) follows the no-go border line or keeps safe margin/distance between border line and the actual path? Thanks.
Right now it does not clean up very good around the no-go zone but that is going to be fixed in a future update.
Did you ever figure a way to make a pathway areas 1 & 2 where you were having trouble with Luba making donuts?
I just overlapped the zones It still doesn't cross gracefully It does some weird zigs and zags at the crossing point but it makes it
