    Thank you! I was doing one pass on my no go zones to save time and couldn't figure out why it wasn't getting close to the edges. I googled it and only your video answered my question. You da man. Please keep up the good work and keep updating us as new Lubas come out. I'm sold on this robot mowing stuff so I'm sure eventually I will be buying luba 8 or something. Thanks!

    Can't tell what I like about your videos. But I think that you are a really good and fun guy, just by being yourself. :) Just keep being yourself.
    I didn't notice this update on my machine, and just realized I had it for a month. Really great update, and thanks for the vid, now I understand that I should go and change the laps to 3 instead of 1 :)

    I am always learning something new from your videos. Did not know that I can see, in which order the lawn will be mowed. I am staying tuned 😊

    If I set it to 1 lap it should do the closest lap. Makes no sense why they did it the way they did

    You are on e very informative reviewer...... here is another idea I would suggest to them if possible, it should be able to cut gridlines through the nogo zones inner perimeter lap.....or at least similar to the boarders laps so that the grid lines are a little more complete

    Hi there, hello. My OG 5000 which, yes, I did get from that guy, is now in action in Albania, and it is doing a superb job on my mountainous "lawn" with very large slopes. I have not yet set up any no-go zones, but I think I will create a few then I will try this 3 lap thing as well.

    Can you post where you show the amount of tree cover? Tree cover is what matters to a lot of people. This really seems to determine whether or not Luba will work without stopping. Thanks!

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm sure quite a few of my videos feature the trees in the backyard. I will put a tree specific video on my list of future video ideas

    • @atlantasailor1
      @atlantasailor1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Crazypostman maybe turn the camera vertical so people can assess the amount of cover. I wish there was a way to know in advance if trees will force it to stop. I think you are saying that yours functions under trees but the question is how Thick are they? I had the old robomowers but got rid of them because the batteries lasted only about one season and they were expensive. However at least they were user replaceable. They were lead acid of course. However even LION batteries have around one thousand charge limit. I bet replacing one of these would cost hundreds of dollars…

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atlantasailor1 I don't know how much the OEM option would be for battery replacement but I would definitely do it myself for a fraction of the price. but I bet the batteries last longer than you think. I've had a robot mower going on 6 years and it runs fine on the original battery still. I have a battery powered 42-in riding lawn mower and it's fine after 2 years. And I've put 100,000 mi on electric cars no problems... Some lithium batteries can have thousands of cycles before they even go down to even 80% capacity. Tree cover is not going to be the main problem you face with Luba. Mowing next to a structure causes much more problems than underneath tree cover. Out under trees The only real time I have problems is if I get right next to a thick trunk sometimes it'll pause otherwise it almost never even pauses under the trees.

    We have a 1000. Have you run into an issue where the green light on the bumper isn't on? We've lost all connection to it as well...says it's "offline".

    There is bug on mine using the Android app, whereby it only offers No-Go laps on the 1st lawn. If I task it for other lawns it isn't offered, but if select the 1st lawn set it up cancel ( 'x') and then go to the 2nd or 3rd lawn it does the laps. Also since the update I have had multiple instances where it comes off the charger and freezes and powers down, which is really irritating as on powering up it has forgotten the task. On powering up I note it thinks it is OOB so guess it powers down when it thinks it is OOB and there is no Bluetooth connection. It didn't behave this way before the upgrade. I have now moved the base station further into the open to see if it is any better.

      Weird bugs! I have not experienced experienced that but I have heard others mention that they're luba pauses coming off the dock. Mine's behaving now two or three weeks ago before the update I was having lots of trouble but now it's back to normal

    I have a large round golf green at my farm, there is a half-moon shaped berm (Hugelkultur) near the rear of the golf green, but with in the boundary of the green itself. I want to mow the green at 1 inch, but mow the berm at 2.5 inches (once again, the half-moon berm resides within the green).
    **Q?** Do I first create task for the outer area of the green, then create a no-go zone for the berm -- then create a new task to just mow the berm?

    • @Crazypostman
      @Crazypostman  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never experimented with that type of situation, have you not just tried to do it to see what happens? A no-go zone has to be inside of a task area.

I'd like to set up my large lawn with several zones as I don't want it operating by the street when I'm not home due to possible theft. Is there a trick to getting it to allow it? It was an interesting way to implement it. Maybe there's a reason why they did it this way that I don't understand, But if it was me I would have always had the first lap be the closest and you could choose one two or three to gradually get further out.

    • @mvrussisonline
      @mvrussisonline ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess now that you think of it they are handling no go perimeter laps the same way they handle task area laps. Outside/ In.
      They probably just borrowed some code and just treated no gos like a task area, minus the internal cutting.
      Thanks again!
