to avoid issues like this, don't cut the grass if wet, cut it more often, use the lower speed, rinse the undercarriage etc., avoid cutting more than 1/2IN of grass clips
00:28 My Landroid has a slight raised plastic piece that the blade screw, screws into, this keeps the blades slightly raised off of the the plastic disk. They get very little grass stuck in them, the hole of the blade is round as well and fit snuggly around the plastic screw hole. I would put a flat washer on these blade screws to give a little space and maybe use Landroids blades with a circle hole instead of those blades with the slots.
This is what Husqvarna has done on their automowers for a decade. You'll want to avoid any friction between the blades and the cover or they won't spin out of the properly when hitting things like sticks. A very small washer or spacer of some kind should help as well as a more rigid material. I'm very surprised Mammotion had no idea to do this as it's critical to mow or the blades will degrade very quickly.
I'm doing this. I've added about 5mm of open play. My screws have a non-threaded area for a blade axel, and I add a nut and lock washer after the blade. Lastly, I spray the blades and disk with dry graphite lubricant to keep the grass from sticking. All this has made a huge difference. My blades are completely clean after mows now. There's a small amount of grass wrapped around the screw, but the blades remain freely spinning.
Some guys got sloted, some with holes. I am backer from kickstarter. On Luba is sloted, but 3sets spare one are with holes. Anyways I will order some Titanium from amazon with philips screws

After that he say he hav 0.2 clearance between blades, disc and plastic holder disc. What does it matter if the blades are “stuck” in the fully extended position?? The cutting part of the blade is still perfectly exposed and spinning around cutting. I think you’re “fixing” a non-problem.
The blade is meant to deflect if it strikes a stick, stone or other hard objects. If the blade cannot deflect it rapidly becomes chipped and blunt. This mower excels on lawns other robotic mowers cannot handle so they are inevitably a bit rougher
The Luba didn't work for me, as soon as you have corners and edges in the garden it's over. Since it is a Chinese company, you have no right of return and will not get your money refunded! 😤

Just yesterday I was thinking of getting a shield laser cut out of aluminum for the same reason. Glad to see it works as planned.

Köszönet érte! Jő ötlet, kifogom próbálni!
what do you think about the side blade guards, they blocked at least an inch of cutting width on both sides.
Have you tried PTFE washers?
Good idea about the cover. Have you thought about putting the blades on ball bearings? The added weight might reduce the run time though
I believe there is no room for ball bearings, and they are not really necessary
Shoulder screws I think would be ideal giving the blades plenty of slop/wiggle room. Stock they look barely loose enough.
Husqvarna automower has a metal cover. I have never had the blades get stuck with grass before on them.
I have a husqvarna and the blades are blocked by the same phenomenon
@BnnB I've got 2 Husqvarna Automowers and I never have the problem on them.
That's why they double the price of their mowers. 😂
why not just using longer screws so it has more clearance. I would prefer that option.

isn`t that much louder like with no cover?!
Where did you get the slotted blades, I have the 2 hole blade that are always stuffed with grass

Also a kickstarter
Very interesting. Do you have a comment to say about the cutting quality?
About cutting quality, I haven't noticed that anything has changed
@@0ssaa Good to know🙂🙂🙂🤗
What would be the ideal thickness of the cover? I’m thinking of using a Teflon sheet

I agree
Ikea hexagon
Avec cette solution, ça risque de créer un problème sur les branches, les cailloux et autres obstacles et de casser les lames
If you care about your lawn then you dont have stones and branches hiden in your grass ;)

Make video about problem. Maybe is problem when zone is set up.
Luba seems to be a pain in the butt.
I would disagree. I really love how she works
No it isn't.
it's still a baby, will get better
@@0ssaa they have new blades with two holes instead of a slot, might wanna give those a try.
@@steffen707- slot blades are better because it is easier to clean and unstuck
