1. The reward system in Sim battles isn't a recent development; it's been this way for some time, offering players the chance to maximize their RP efficiently or rather inefficiently however you feel about it. 2. My experience directly contradicts the doubt about reaching top-tier levels quickly; I got the Mirage 4000 within four days of purchasing the Mirage F1C-200. My apologies that it wasn't exactly 3. 3. Quickly spading aircraft is absolutely possible, especially since matches tend to last until the end. You just have to give this a try yourself before commenting about it, your point regarding this was pointless as you haven't even attempted it. 4. The inactivity kick timer is actually around 10 minutes, and resetting it is as simple as tapping your throttle once. 5. There's no clickbait here; the information provided is based on real results, with players earning over 100k RP using this method, as confirmed by screenshots. 6. Whether this method promotes dedication over skill is subjective; players choose how to use it, whether for efficient progression or focused combat sorties there's no bias to one or the other its up to each individual how they want to grind. 7. Past exploitative practices are irrelevant to this video as this is not an exploit; the focus now is on optimizing RP gains in Sim battles. 8. Everyone, regardless of playstyle, is impacted by the limitations on reward accumulation and there is no group A or group B of players, everyone has to adapt to maximize rewards efficiently.
Finally, someone in this comment section who actually knows what they are talking about. To be fair I think you were abit harsh but you did hit the nail on the head. Like, he's just a kid trying to play the algorithm for a shot at a small time YT channel, you can't really blame him for copying the dogshit slop that's the golden standard for the platform. My only issue with what you said, was mainly just you seeming to ignore the core problem that makes "RB tourists" and "grinders" a plague on sim. Ultimately Gayjoob decides how economies work and literally every problem that eventually killed sim stems from their inability to allow progression to be tolerable. Don't get me wrong, it's sad to see that (even a shitty simulator such as WT) all lobbies are dead lobbies full of zombers, and the crushing blow is the popularization of "grinding" guides. But as long as the game has shitty progression, dogshit videos like this will continue to clickbait and pollute the sim part of the game.
im mostly an rb player but i play sim here and there, my secret to faster grinding is that i go to the item shop and buy those 15% RP boosters that last 10 matches, they only cost 99ge so its a pretty cheap way to get a lot more rp especially if you know youre gonna be playing for a while. usually i get burnt out after 10 games anyway so it works out great. although since this gambling event is going on ive been spending SL for those 20% RP boosters that last 10 matches which has been awesome
I haven't tried the method myself yet, but I have my doubts as to whether you can stock grind a vehicle in 2 hours. If I understand correctly, that's 8 useful actions in total and I don't know how many rp a useful action gives to be honest (let's say a top tier jet with premium time). Usually a stock grind takes about 200k rp or more for a top tier jet so I have a big doubt that 8 useful actions can give you 200k rp. Other than that, I'll give it a try. It seems to be a pretty effective method, thanks for sharing it with us, you got a new sub :)
2 sim matches = 200k rp , 1 hour in sim = 100k rp depending on plane. 😊 Currently stock grinding J-11 in sim will update how much I get after this match. 92k rp didnt finish match
Ugh... you were so NEARLY correct.... it's 1050 points, not 600 points. No discussion of landing bonuses... or BR rotations.... or rockets vs bombs... France?? Why not ask someone who's blasted through FOUR air trees in sim who knows.... me :p
@@plazmaflare5199 84 rockets get 699 points on a base, bombs only get 400 or so. The BR spread changes every 2 days. So if you have a 9.0 plane you should ideally play it at 8.0-9.0 where you will be best, not 9.0-10.0 where you will be worst. All basic stuff everyone should know... especially if you're making a tutorial about it on TH-cam.
Flying with a timer on is great for tracking when the 30 minute boosters tik down as well. There’s two ways to do this that are dang near opposites. 1; Empty Lobbies, zombing, boring ah and waiting on the airfield or (2; Full lobbies, maximize air to air potential, BUT MAKE SURE U LAND AFTER A KILL. If u don’t ur rewards get massively slashed. U also don’t have to wait around with that method, it’s close to just playing normally
best grinding method while also actually playing the game and having some sort of fun, just win. you get a 120% rp bonus for winning. averaging a moderate amount of kills and winning is going to get you through a tech tree faster than getting a ton of kills and losing all the time. more so for ground rb, not every kill has the same impact on the match outcome, i.e. killing an spaa vs killing an enemy heavy tank. or actually defending caps instead of pusing into the enemy spawn, getting an extra 2 kills and dying and now the enemy takes the cap and wins
I knew that sim had a good way of grinding. Sim should give more RP and SL regardless just for the difficulty of it meaning higher reward but still, thanks for explaining how the cycle actually works. I couldn’t quite figure out when it was giving me that useful actions
Tbf before the nerf I was getting upwards of 180k rp each sim match with a premium jet and like 11 kills. I grinded the entire ussr tree in like 3 days
I just used the su 25 and got 50k rp for 2 hrs and that is a slow plane without a talisman 😮 tysm I can’t wait to try this with something like the Mig 23 ml
@@jpppe yeah, if we’re talking about the premium. It has one of the highest modifiers in the game. The other ones are good too, just make sure you’re playing them at a BR you don’t fight the Tomcat in, and with France on your team. You cannot see pulse Doppler radars on your RWR
Damn this video wouldve been nice like a year ago if i didnt discover making 60k rp every 15 mins while having fun on arcade and not being miserable by botting on sim
@user-qr2yi9wo8m Use strikers and bomb bases play the game normally while you wait for ordnance to reload or you can climb into the stratosphere when you first spawn in and nobody will really go after you so you can bomb bases and eventually the airfield, only works with air conquest (No airfield, bases respawn every like 30 seconds after destroying one) and ground strike (Frontlines too) The volcano map is really bad, tho because you can't bomb airfield like in air conquest, and the bases take minutes to respawn, and that's if they even decide to respawn. The rewards vary from plane to plane and depending on bomb load (and premium account) For example, the premium SU-25K can use either 32x100kg bombs and get like 4k rp from a single base with a premium account) but can also take 8x500kg bombs which offers way more TNT overall than the 32x100kg load yet gives around less than half the rewards that the 100kg bomb loadout. This works best for researching whole tech trees. Playing sim or rb is better for modifications unless the plane you're trying to spade is a striker that has enough ordnance to bomb bases in one pass (fire all ordnance, destroy the base, reload, go for next base, repeat until the match ends)

Hey Clank and Nate, thanks a bunch for the informative video! I will definitely try the method but I wanted to ask you, as it may be helpful for new-ish players like me, what is your recommended plane for each nation's tech tree (at least the big ones)? I was thinking premiums of course, and primarely bombing to minimize the struggle? I guess? I can maybe guess some of them: US: A2D-1 / F5C USSR: SU25-K Germany: MiG-21 "Lazur-M" GB: Any Sea Harrier? Let me know what you think are the best options from your experience. Thanks again!
Su25k is kinda bad I would recommend the mig23ml. That thing can actually take out a base on its own and it’s an SL printer, also pretty good at air to air for the br
I'm pretty sure you still get silver lions and research for actions beyond 600 points, but if you have some evidence that you don't, that would be awesome.
hey man interesting strategy! I wanna try it out but I did not quite underderstand how exactly it works... so you start a sim match, when u are on the airfield you start a 15min timer. Then u fly and bomb a base and return to your airfield within those 15 minutes. You rearm and wait until the rest of the time is up, then you start another 15min timer and go and bomb another base? is that how it works?
if u didn't understand ill explain more simply for u. Once u enter an air sim game start up a timer the moment you spawn in and go do any activity that gives you mission score like bombing bases, killing ai... etc. Once you get ur mission score up to 600, RTB then you can either hover in circles above the airfield and wait for the Useful Action popup on ur screen then land to recieve full reward. Or either land and afk on the airfield until you get the same pop up. The choice is urs and if u have any questions dont hesitate to ask bro
@@knifeinatoasterwttIs there a difference being landed or on air when the usefull action popup? Also does j-out at the airfield affect anything? You could just play superprops until top tier in air arcade. Right around 5.7 is peak planes. Really maneuverable, really easy to get kills. 6.7 is fine but you start facing loads of jets which sucks to fight in with a prop. You can easily get 10-20k rp per game in air arcade if you fight furballs (you need to be really good to win 3v1's which happen a lot). You can hunt bombers with planes that climb really well and get 5k rp a game without much difficulty.
@@envy_ Yeah, its not as cool as dogfighting people in realistic, and you don't get as much rp per kill or per hit, but, you can get a lot of kills if you play arcade right, and you get more rp than bombing in realistic. You also don't have to spend 10 minutes climbing only to get pilot sniped in your first fight.
@@dashdartfun oh i see your point, different people-different choices i guess. personally from experience imo, rb was a lot faster for grinding and rarely got pilot sniped. though tbf i was using a zero fighter which is VERY overpowered, especially against inexperienced players.
So, 1. I spawn and start my 15min timer 2. I go and try to not die while making 600 points by (example) bombing one base 3. I hear my timer go off 4. Camp at base while the second timer goes off after 15min and repeat that process?
I prefer basically every prop in the yak line, mig line just solid throughout, and is a must have when you get to jets. The La/Su line for me has some good planes here and there like La7, La200, and Su27. Yak props are light and agile with decent to good energy retention and la lines turn a bit worse than the yaks but generally have a stronger engine. mig line I recommend the MiG3, I225, MiG9L, MiG15Bis, and basically every other jet further down the line. Yak line has very good props and I recommend almost all of them. The jets are a different story though and the only thing worth getting is Yak141 for funny vtol stuff
Premium account makes this game somewhat playable(saves thousands hours). Wait until sale in autumn and buy it on sale . Until that play/do something else.
1 hour depending on premium jet = 100k rp, sim matches usually last 1 hour and 30 so you get around 120k rp or 130k. IF you get every useful action you can get 150k+

How long before snail nerfs this? It goes against their monetised frustration business model to have people being able to spade planes in under 100+ games. The idea is to make it so darn boring and frustrating that you pay real money. It sucks, it really does. Maybe as this is sim and doesn’t actively spoil anyone else’s game they might leave it alone? I hope so. I have a bunch of planes I’ve not flown as I can’t be bothered with the grind. Maybe if I can get them spaded I might actually have some fun? I gotta get more premium time and give it a go. Thx.
It IS the nerfed sim, buddy. If you're consistent with your skills, you gonna earn same/more in ARB for same/less amount of time.
Currently stock grinding J-11 in sim will update how much I get after this match.
92k rp didnt finish match
yeah if you have premium with a premium plane you can get 100k but other than that its nearly impossible

No discussion of landing bonuses... or BR rotations.... or rockets vs bombs...
France?? Why not ask someone who's blasted through FOUR air trees in sim who knows.... me :p
BR rotations? also what is it with rockets vs bombs
@@HeliBoyVR With this information I will make a video and be famous
can you explain it to me? i still dont get what i have to do... and i dont wanna waste my hours on this shit
Could you explain it more?
Flying with a timer on is great for tracking when the 30 minute boosters tik down as well. There’s two ways to do this that are dang near opposites. 1; Empty Lobbies, zombing, boring ah and waiting on the airfield or (2; Full lobbies, maximize air to air potential, BUT MAKE SURE U LAND AFTER A KILL. If u don’t ur rewards get massively slashed. U also don’t have to wait around with that method, it’s close to just playing normally
best grinding method while also actually playing the game and having some sort of fun, just win. you get a 120% rp bonus for winning. averaging a moderate amount of kills and winning is going to get you through a tech tree faster than getting a ton of kills and losing all the time. more so for ground rb, not every kill has the same impact on the match outcome, i.e. killing an spaa vs killing an enemy heavy tank. or actually defending caps instead of pusing into the enemy spawn, getting an extra 2 kills and dying and now the enemy takes the cap and wins
you get no rp bonus for winning in air sim
I knew that sim had a good way of grinding. Sim should give more RP and SL regardless just for the difficulty of it meaning higher reward but still, thanks for explaining how the cycle actually works. I couldn’t quite figure out when it was giving me that useful actions
Thank you so much bro i am now gaining so much, and not wasting time and losing.

Sim is the only game mode i play and i didnt even know this. I never understood how a great match had about the same rewards as a bad one. Now i know.

Damn this video wouldve been nice like a year ago if i didnt discover making 60k rp every 15 mins while having fun on arcade and not being miserable by botting on sim
noone is miserable or botting but thanks for sharing ur opinion
@user-qr2yi9wo8m Use strikers and bomb bases play the game normally while you wait for ordnance to reload or you can climb into the stratosphere when you first spawn in and nobody will really go after you so you can bomb bases and eventually the airfield, only works with air conquest (No airfield, bases respawn every like 30 seconds after destroying one) and ground strike (Frontlines too)
The volcano map is really bad, tho because you can't bomb airfield like in air conquest, and the bases take minutes to respawn, and that's if they even decide to respawn.
The rewards vary from plane to plane and depending on bomb load (and premium account)
For example, the premium SU-25K can use either 32x100kg bombs and get like 4k rp from a single base with a premium account) but can also take 8x500kg bombs which offers way more TNT overall than the 32x100kg load yet gives around less than half the rewards that the 100kg bomb loadout.
This works best for researching whole tech trees. Playing sim or rb is better for modifications unless the plane you're trying to spade is a striker that has enough ordnance to bomb bases in one pass (fire all ordnance, destroy the base, reload, go for next base, repeat until the match ends)
@@hyivthey are, pvp players are bored bc the whole lobby bombs and dosent even fight back anymore

As a sim player... can confirm
I guess?
I can maybe guess some of them:
US: A2D-1 / F5C
USSR: SU25-K
Germany: MiG-21 "Lazur-M"
GB: Any Sea Harrier?
Let me know what you think are the best options from your experience. Thanks again!
Su25k is kinda bad I would recommend the mig23ml. That thing can actually take out a base on its own and it’s an SL printer, also pretty good at air to air for the br

I'm pretty sure you still get silver lions and research for actions beyond 600 points, but if you have some evidence that you don't, that would be awesome.
Your video hit a spot I don’t know what it is
hey man interesting strategy!
@@knifeinatoasterwtt ahhh amazing now I got it thanks!
"Interesting strategy" it's just how the game works huh
@@IonPerseus yeah I didnt know that in a sim battle, the game counts the points and gives them to you every 15minutes. I am not much of a sim player
@@knifeinatoasterwttIs there a difference being landed or on air when the usefull action popup? Also does j-out at the airfield affect anything?
What is the difference when you can just casually play sim and still getting 600 score under 15 minutes anyway? Does dying affect the 600 point-no death/not ejecting rewards?
this would be great if my sim preset wouldn't fuck itself everytime i swap between it and RB

my issue is going to be playing sim. im going to have to learn how to see enemies and shoot them, and how to land successfully with any plane

Reporting people for playing the game passively instead of complaining to the devs who are REALLY the ones who are encouraging it is such a bitch move.

…air arcade
So,
1. I spawn and start my 15min timer
2. I go and try to not die while making 600 points by (example) bombing one base
3. I hear my timer go off
4. Camp at base while the second timer goes off after 15min and repeat that process?
I subbed because on my second game of realistic air battle I did it
Well finally someone else found about simulator battles
question what do you consider a good vehicle for grinding in Russia's tech tree
La 5 line is really good for props, then really anything in the MIG line for jets will do well
I prefer basically every prop in the yak line, mig line just solid throughout, and is a must have when you get to jets.
This sounds like the least fun way to have fun with a game that's supposed to be about having fun
is 3 days with or without a premium account? just wondering if its worth it to buy a few days while I do this
its not possible to finish a tech tree in 3 days unless you spend tons of golden eagles on it, however premium account does help with the grind id say
Premium account makes this game somewhat playable(saves thousands hours). Wait until sale in autumn and buy it on sale . Until that play/do something else.
This is the reason why i rather pay for it. I have money, i don't have time to waste
Tried sim a few times. Can't even take off. This is too much of a hassle, I'll stick to RB

OMG, War Thunder is another one of those "performance doesnt matter" games, it's the clearest sign developer only wants to waste your time.
been like that for too long and it'll only get worse if the user-base doesnt stay on gaijins case about improving rewards
If i understant right, its: spawn, bomb, wait and retry?
Nobody’s talking about it because if Gaijin finds out, they’ll patch it out
I am hoping and praying to the LORD that gaijin remove the stupid useful actions feature bc it kneecaps good players
I hope they do
So from this method how much rp can gain from each sim ?
1 hour depending on premium jet = 100k rp, sim matches usually last 1 hour and 30 so you get around 120k rp or 130k. IF you get every useful action you can get 150k+
Without premium vehicle it’s tough because you have penalties for researching lower tiers, but a talisman can help and you can get those for free
@@hyiv How the hell do you get 100k rp ? I have the milan and the max I can get is like 32k, I'm bombing the whole time and killing a couple ground units/players too

got to ask, when you say points do you mean lions or research points?
How long before snail nerfs this? It goes against their monetised frustration business model to have people being able to spade planes in under 100+ games. The idea is to make it so darn boring and frustrating that you pay real money. It sucks, it really does. Maybe as this is sim and doesn’t actively spoil anyone else’s game they might leave it alone? I hope so. I have a bunch of planes I’ve not flown as I can’t be bothered with the grind. Maybe if I can get them spaded I might actually have some fun? I gotta get more premium time and give it a go. Thx.
goodluck and enjoy
It IS the nerfed sim, buddy. If you're consistent with your skills, you gonna earn same/more in ARB for same/less amount of time. The nowadays Airm Sim punishes you for being active and pushing your team to victory, because the longer the match - the more you get. I hope they going to reverse that system once.
