Do you think you'll review the YJ EST and the new MGC 3x3? Apparently some people are using the EST for one-handed events, while the new MGC seems to be pretty good compared to its predecessors.
Maglev doesn't equate to upgraded. Some maglev feels exactly the same while others can give you fewer variation between settings. There have been a couple times in the past that I have felt stronger pull on the maglev version, but overall if it is the same cube the spring version is the go to.
@@SpeedCubeReview In my opinion, it does equate to upgraded, even if it feels the same. This is because screws do eventually back off over time unless you put locktite on it, which you really shouldn't put in a cube, and that springs grind against either the center piece or metal washers, creating plastic or metal dust that is a pain to clean. However, the dust problem was actually solved by GAN with their GES nut system, where the spring is inside a capsule, meaning the spring isn't grinding on anything because the entire capsule rotates, so it's just the plastic capsule rubbing against the plastic center piece.
I always enjoy smaller cubes (because of my smaller hands). And i like how you pull up a caliper to measure (I got my WRM v9 immediately after you showed it is 54.3). In my opinion, the optimal size is close to 54mm for One handed solving; also for 3x3 solving if you don't have long fingers
@Lullabyte-f4v But there is also a difference between cubes that are just cheap and turn bad no matter the settings, and cubes that are great but you intently set it up tighter to practice accuracy. Two different things. And these things are subjective as well. Gan haters/critics will always say it's a "bad" cube even though it's just too tight while other brands are "great, just on the wrong setting". It's okay to have your own opinion but always keep in mind that people can have a different opinion and both being valid. (This last sentence is only related to cubing, don't take it out of context) 😅
I don't know anyone personally who said that. There are no major differences in modern cubes like the v10 or Gan puzzles as far as locking up. Some "youcubers" may just say extreme things like that for clicks when objectively it's not true. One could easily say the exact same thing with the company names reversed but in the end it's just dishonest towards the community.
Yes Shawn! I’ve been waiting for ANYONE to do a review on this, as my girlfriend loves mini cubes! Happy early Valentine’s Day babe 😅
Haven’t started watching yet, but I’m super excited to know what you think about the absurdly strong magnets in a small cube
Best budget OH cube ?
Nice little cube
Is this in any way better than the YJ ZhiLong Mini 50mm 3x3 (Magnetic)?
The ZhiLong has a tension adjustment system, and while smaller might be easier to grip.

Have you tried Swift Block maglev. Will it be an upgrade from the regular version.

@@SpeedCubeReview I would also like to mention that it now has core-corner magnets, but I don't know how much more stable it makes it.

it also has corner to core magnets in the mahlev version@@SpeedCubeReview
@SpeedCubeReview it also has core magnets, and the price is almost like xt3 pioner in my local speedcubes shop.
Your hand made me think it is a 35mm 2x2 (352)😅

when people get a moyu cube that locks up, they say it helps them turn accurately. if its a gan, they say its bad.
Um... What?
@@SpeedCubeReview mostly talking about weilong v10 reception v gan flagships reveption lol
