I found this video because I was researching the dogtra e collar system. I am so glad I found your video. I have been using the Garmin550 for 4 years, and the remote is a tank.. it can really take a beating.. It has seen mountains, waterfalls, beaches and woods and it has never failed me. I have had issues with the battery in the collar.. After replacing it a few times, I am moving on to a different color. The remote is large, so I was looking for something smaller than can still control multiple dogs. After seeing this I think I will be going with the sport pro. Tone on a collar is a MUST for me.. and a durable controller is also important. Thanks for your review :D
The Garmin 550remote is gigantic🤯!! I prefer the ecollar educator. Mine has gone, pager, and search light flashing or steady. Small remote easily discrete. Great video . ❤️
Yesssss I have a Dogtra ARC and while I like the variance in levels that dial is the biggest pain in my ass and creates inconsistency in reinforcement. My dog is off misbehaving while I’m fiddling with the f’ing dial. I do like the arc’s small receiver box.
I also demand vibrate and tone. I was set on a sportdog brand sporthunter 825x. I bought it and then returned it. The tone was too quiet and, most importantly, you had to roll the knob to get to a setting for tone or vibrate. You could never have button access to tone, vibrate, shock at the same time. And this was my biggest demand. I returned the sportdog and ordered the garmin sport pro. People who are new to training a dog, speed and accuracy in correction is massive. Find something that will allow you to make the right correction without hesitation. This is how you and your dog learn to speak the same language and get on the same page.
Lol I call bullshit! You should’ve paid for the dogtra not the other. Garmin lol and your dog will run and chase a skunk with it all the up, but not with that dogtra and you know that too. Who the hell needs tone anyway

What's your thought on the Garmin Delta collar? Im kinda on a budget but looking for a decent correction collar

Should add the sport pro is water resistant NOT waterproof. If it wasn't for that I would be purchasing the sport pro.
