What I love is the pace of the combat is just so much faster than previous AC games. hopefully it doesn't overshadow the stealth and assassination aspect of the game though.
@TheWiMah I agree, an assassin is supposed to be slender and well coordinated. Not a mountain of muscels and brute force. But I still like him somehow.
You don't necessarily get a good look but you can still tell it's there. Notice how the left arm has more stuff on it? That's where the hidden blade is.

u can actually do the story line for like 60 hours if u just don't rush it. im going to play the first few sequences and then free run the whole time :D
Desmond is supposed to be the main plot of the whole series ... it would silly if they just exposed what happened like that .... and they usually release a trailer with Desmond .... but not this time ..
Yeahhh, I don't see the trouble in having other people in normal hoods and a few travellers with some weapons to stay safe, it would make the world a bit more immersive and believable, but then again, not too many native americans roam bosten and new york. But it's a game, and the features are too awesome to put behind this detail
Wow, I'm sold. The fluidity of the combat, the blending of animation, and the fight choreography all look phenomenal. Also, I've always felt that the one thing Assassin's Creed franchise has been so consistently great at is story-telling. The writers really know their history, and when you play the game it shows what immense amount of research went into making sure the fiction remains plausible within the historical, political, and the cultural backdrop. Lots of respect for this dev team.
You can't compare Ezio to Connor.Its different timeline,they had different lifes and different personalities.Also "he had the best story" part is just stupid,Ezio had 3 games about himself while Connor had only 1.In my opinion i prefer Connor over any other assassin.
all of the ps3 content can fit on one blue ray dvd disk. if anything, having to swap disks between single & multiplayer should be something to complain about--what a pain in the ass
i know who john marston is, I shedded manly tears because of him. i know this won't be set in the same time as RDR. i know who johnny nitro is. But I'm not sure if this is an underground meme/joke, not that familiar with those.. so please elaborate
geez, every1 is talking about how the grapchics and such but it really isn't that big of a deal, it barely affects anything, tbh i can't see the visul differences on most games if u compare console and pc. And the experience isn't going to be better on PC, they said that they are not supporting mouse and keyboard so we have to fix our controls manualy insted of having a pre-set control layout. Ubisoft isn't taking their time to make a better experince they are simply lazy and not making a proper

they said that you will unlock new outfits when you hunt, i don't know if that means they will be better, but i don't think there will be like metal armor, i think it will be like fur or something
Well, it's between 4 games.. but possibly. Hitman is also showing promise. Halo 4 is refreshed and seems to be capable of many awards. Call of Duty is rebuilt from the ground up.. No copy and pasting like the previous games. It's also showing promise. This game looks awesome as did all of the Assassin's Creed games. The story of this is by far the best out of the other 3. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
Well in this case they are, they are soldiers. It is an army, not some pack of guards. And I have yet to see someone take down 10 guys by himself outside a Hollywood film. Games are like hollywood, except you are the director and actor. It is meant to fulfill some kind of fantasy of being a badass during the war, but idht that anyone can consistently win duels like Connor and Ezio and Altair. But I like the unrealism in it, it makes it fun, which is what a game is supposed to be. Cheers mate
Yeah, never understood why they had to stretch him out to his older years, made it seem weird that it was an old man moving as fast as a 20 year old. AC3 will start at Connor's childhood, his teen years will probably be where he learns combat in the french and indian war, and then the revolution and after the war. So as far as the game is concerned, its Connor's birth to age 30 maybe 32 or so

And I Don't Know Why The Fuck, Ubisoft Changed Their Faces In ACR... Those Aren't Altair And Ezio At All...
The game takes place over a 30 year span of Connor's life. The revolution will be a big part of it, but his life before the AR (French and Indian War) and post AR (American's annihilation of the tribes or moving them) will be in the game. The big market target for this game is the AR, which is why Connor is shown killing so many red coats. The AR is more famous than the post or pre AR. But during the AR, there will be a few Temps on the US side - but revealing who spoils plot twists. Cheers mate
Hate this argument. If they attacked you like in real life, never would you be able to survive a conflict with 4 men against you. But even with that said, If I saw a man, especially one known for his kills and moves, brutally gutting down one of my mates, I'd be hesitant to attack with the idea that he will probably exploit my move. Altair and Ezio look like Desmond in AC1,2 and Brotherhood, it is because of the Animus Program or Device, but in ACR they didn't look alike because Desmond was inside the Animus Program itself. Connor doesn't look any because of Animus 3.0

I'm sorry but the section about the animations being "well made" and "rarely messing up" are just simply not true. I don't have to play the game for 5 minutes without Connor's feet going up past his head, or jumping on a tree and see him spazz out or just slide on nothing, or how everything connor does doesn't seem to be solid, like he's always riggity etc. I find it amusing but disappointing that they thought this game was even close to finished.
Yeah but... so do Halo, COD, and Battlefield only little inches forward in the last 8 years in terms of gameplay (not graphics). Those franchises are doing as well as any franchise can in the last few years of this console cycle and probably anytime as well. I think the special sauce of the AC series is the creative interpretation of history. The overarching idea being that history is not fact it is rather an opinion of the people in power it is biased towards those who control resources.
It would be cool if Ubisoft made it so when Conner makes a kill an blood splatters all over him that he would have to go to a river, lake, well, or some other kind of water sorce to wash it off. I always hated in the other assassin's creed games when the blood would just magically disappear. It would also add more reaction from people an guards. Like if you pass by a guard with blood all over you, he becomes hostile. I think it would add alot more realism.

if you play revelations youll see that altair doesnt look nearly as much as desmond as he did in the first game, the same with ezio (although he also got alot older). i think that in the beginning of the ac series they didnt really know what to do with the faces so they made em exactly alike, but as the series continued i think the made them all look a little differnt on purpose, even desmon looked differnt in revelations. now all four of them differ alot from eachother

because there is a period where the game has to be copied to discs, packed, shipped to countries and also finish the advertising campaign.

Its probably a dev cheat so the dev's can test the game, likely will be removed considering modern game design
