Always fascinated to hear someone talk about why they DON'T enjoy something. Superficially, people hear negativity. It's not remotely about negativity. I wish more people were stronger characters and not such underdeveloped thinkers as they'd be able to comprehend what a person is REALLY talking about when they discuss things that don't work for them instead of just hearing complaints etc. What I'm always amused by in myself, is when I try an enormously popular fragrance and deeply dislike it/don't connect to it. Off the top of my head, the ones I which I know others adore but which I cannot stand on myself are: Portrait of a Lady-- Frederic Malle; Delina-- Parfums de Marly; Feminite du Bois-- Shiseido; Fracas-- Robert Piguet; Pistachio Gelato by Kayali and Scherzo by Miller Harris. The only magic trick that Scherzo plays is giving a breathtakingly lovely sillage around some wearers whilst being almost intolerable on the skin itself. It's a very unusual fragrance in this way. However, I felt the same as you about it. It's not worth me giving myself a headache just to create that extraordinary cloud of fragrance for OTHERS to enjoy.
@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 I agree that everyone is different. If it does work, let someone else love it. I have a sample of Portrait of a Lady. At first, i loved it, but ultimatly its too strong. I had Kayali Pistashio Gelato 33 travel, but it's not for me. Honestly, the only Kayali I love is Vanilla 28. I have the Wedding ones and should declutter them. 🤪
Beige used to be my spring/summer signature. On bottle #3. But the EDP smells different and "flat* compared to the original EDT formulation. Still wear it, but no longer what I reach for.
I know exactly what you mean. So many niche fragrances have that awful 'flattening' of character over wear/time; instead of developing, dancing, changing, delighting they just flatten out into these watery insipid concoctions. It's the saddest thing about modern perfumery.
@@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 I am a little bit disappointed of many o the new perfumes. There I so much aroma chemicals that many smell so similar. Thanks for watching ❤️
I love a good declutter! You did well 👏🏻👏🏻 Omg so strong it made your lungs hurt! That is strong! 😅 Yes Flowebomb is nice to smell from the bottle for me but probably too sweet for me to actually wear.. Sometimes there’s nothing really wrong with a perfume, but it’s true- sometimes you actually just don’t reach for them! 🤷🏻♀️ Yes same with me for Scherzo - it’s beautiful but I can’t imagine myself wearing it!
I keep all my declutters in a box and when someone comes to buy a perfume more than often they check out what’s in there and leave with something else! 🙂
You've done well to let go of so many many 👏. Scherzo's so overrated by influencers; thankfully I bought a sample set and it was a big no. I have old Miller Harris but I'm not loving her newer releases.

@@LanguidAndBittersweet that's interesting. You can like something but you have to really love it to get wear out of it. 🧡

That's a great idea! I often see perfumes for sale in Montreal. Lucky you
@ I’m in Quebec City, it’s harder to sell that Montreal I find…

I was shocked by Scherzo, I blind bought a partial and it's like WHAT?!
I owned Scherzo, I tried it a couple of times but I didn’t really like it. It was way to heavy for me so I let it go
I have a perfume dupe oil for Beige, it's enough, I hardly wear it.
Scherzo was also not for me. I sampled it and I was shocked not to enjoy it 🙊
