- First things first, I absolutely gave up at the end. Too many overlapping voices in the original song, so it doesn't sound that great :'(
But yeah, I tried to give Solaria more of an 80s sound. She's a bit strained at times, but oh well. (now watch as her Vocal Modes get released right after I post this video).

Oh WOOOOW! Well, it's hard to replicate Kate's original voice and tone, and this is still spot on. Wow, crazy good. Been into Kate for literal years, so happy to see RUTH getting the recognition it deserves!!

I audibly went "what the heck?!?!" out loud when I heard the first note, really well done cover!! Like her tone and everything sounds so human. SynthV really is the future of vocal synthesizers shame V5 never got to this level.
V6 came really close but the vocals are so clear on vsynth
@@BurntPie V6 isn't close at all. The changer feature is pretty cool but that's about it. The actual synthesis engine is noisier than any previous generation of VOCALOID.
@@Dojan5 check out Allen's micheal Jackson cover that one made me realise v6 has some promise. Though I agree v6 for the most part is a let down compared to its competition the only thing worse is NT miku
Genuinely one of the best SynthV covers out there. I've seen people do all sorts of impressive things with this software and this still made my jaw drop. I really hope this blows up

You did a great job on this song, this wasn’ t easy. The vocal is well done… you know the inflections of Kate. Maybe finding the tone of the vocal a bit too trebly, lacking some mids and lows.. but overall, great job!

Such an amazing version! I just installed the free version of SynthV yesterday and been doing just some experiments yet with the free voices. Definitely a plugin that I must purchase. Solaria seems to be a voice that I must buy.

holy shit this is amazing!! this is probably the best synthesizer cover ive ever heard. id like to ask, is it alright if i convert the SVP file into a VSQx file for personal use (not redistributing or anything)? i want to make a cover of this song as well but this specific style of music is so damn hard. i just wanna make sure if its alright with you! ^_^

Did you custom make your own voice? If so, how?? I'm kinda baffled, unless the built-in model is similar enough to the original singer.
No, this is just Solaria, you can't make your own custom voice in Synthesizer V :)
