The thing that I love the most about this scene was that Max clearly thought of giving up in that moment, she closed her eyes and was almost relieved of dying so she won't feel pain ever again. And then she saw them, in a single moment she decided to fight for her life even if she didn't have any willing. That's why that run is cathartic in my opinion, she's literally running for her life, to come back and when she hug Lucas it's very clear. "I'm still here I'm still here" something that someone that almost attempted suicide will say after winning against death.
I’ve attempted so so many times and watching this scene and seeing her almost give up and give in and then run for her life was so inspiring to me it made me cry.

Remembering her memories with Lucas and the others made me feel like she had to live for the people who loved her. It may seem like a very simple scene to some of you, but it was very meaningful to me and one of the best scenes i’ve ever seen.

i hated season 3. so i was really nervous for season 4 especially since i adored season 1 and 2... but this scene. this scene. this moment. made the whole wait worth it. so powerful.
@@jamieburgess7462 it's my opinion. for me it was awful. the characters were poorly written caricatures of their past selves and there was no charming sense of mystery or foreboding from the previous 2 that made the show work. It became obvious the Duffers were just following a formula. With minor changes to trick us into thinking it was different. The only good things, in my opinion was Robin introduction and Hopper's impactful death. But we knew he'd come back because we'd seen it happen with Eleven in S1. Ultimately the Russians storyline totally blew the show out of proportion. It didn't feel the same, and not in a way that was refreshing. I am enjoying 4 though, joint second place with season 2. It's flawed, but I actually liked it. For my tastes, Season 3 was incredibly average.

Seem like it was a powerful scene with max but what made it so powerful was that max out of all the one’s affected by Vecna. She was failed by everyone almost giving up her life that’s why that scene was so immaculate. Seem like it was a powerful scene with max but what made it so powerful was that max out of all the one’s affected by Vecna. She was failed by everyone almost giving up her life that’s why that scene was so immaculate.
