It has the feel of the beautiful Mother Gray. As Syd Barrett was a man who David was influenced by, the title Run Piper Run (Mooneyes is his name) is interesting. Barrett was a genius and the main writer for the fantastic Piper At The Gates Of Dawn album also made in 1967. I guess Barrett used "Piper" first, but if not, that's interesting.
@craighudson7294 red money was recorded after sister midnight only lyrics changed Your other comparison is very narrow are you sure your not a music journalist Its the cliche in you Im a man who is lucky enough to have 2 singles by The Konrads my collection goes as far back as one can go The song does not remind me at all of London bye bye ta ta Its all relative but I dont hear it
@@andrewjohnstone963 have you ever been to a distillery? You have the pure alcohol then it's put in casks and mixed until it becomes a whisky, then iys matured, a year, 10 years, 20 year 30 years, but you can still trace that 30 year old whisky from the original pure alcohol. When you understand that then you may understand how a musician such as Bowie will come up with an idea, discard part of it and and bits, but the discarded bits will crop up somewhere else, bas rhythms, lyrics, beats, riffs. If you listen you can hear a few tracks origins from that one track. That's what people are talking about and realising. It maybe too subtle for you, but others can recognise it.
Why would you not record the whole song? I can't imagine anyone who strangely finds these vault safe demo pressings, which are supposed to be not heard by anyone if they're still unreleased, but then they don't record the whole song and these always end up in a auction. Why can I never see any of these on eBay for once? But that's not my point. Who even dares to find something like this and make up an auction for something they don't even own bruh
These Acetates are always for sale at auction, I have been asked before not to publish the whole track as it devalues the Acetate. It is then up to the new owners if they want to put the full track on TH-cam or any other format.
