I just bought the CE Shop course for Maryland tonight. Started this journey after thinking about it for 6 years. I only have aspirations to be part time, unless it's too fun :). Success to me is an additional $2k a month after taxes. How difficult would that actually be? I love looking at houses and I would probably only work through word of mouth (that's my thought at least). Is that a delusional way of thinking?
Early congrats!! $2k a month after taxes is absolutely doable as part time. That would likely mean 1 outbound referral a month. So likely to get 1 closing a month that might mean doing 6 open houses every week, or hosting 1 home buying or home selling seminar every week, or 20-40 phone calls a day. It’s all about measuring your leading indicators, and looking at the numbers of how many contacts you have, and less about looking at homes. It’s sales.
