In the first season Feyenoord didnt have the money to buy allot of players. He did buy more players in his second season tho. He didn’t spend too much, but he definitely made more transfers.
I would say Liverpool’s squad is sufficient to remain competitive at the top, they’ve got so much quality at their disposal and all they’d need is replacements for any players they might sell. Their defence is still quality, although slightly aging, their midfield has a lot of depth with a variety of different qualities to choose from and their offence is still their strongest asset as all their forwards are dynamite

But I would like a good CB that can start in the PL. Konate is great but he gets injured frequently due to bad tackles and Quansah just isnt experienced enough for the starting role imo.

The only player I want is Johan Bakayoko class player and would easily get decent game time and he played with Cody Gakpo at PSV so he would be familiar with someone who can help him settle in to the squad and no doubt Slot has spoken to Bakayoko after a game when he was a manager in the eredivse

Now there are many rumours going behind the scenes about Endo & Gordon which was not out until this week. That means management are working behind the scenes but they are keeping it tight. Under Michale Edwards that's how Liverpool worked. Also Gordon is a good player but he is not worth that much. If Gordon heart is set for Liverpool and forces out the move (which he has done before) Liverpool wouldn't pay that much. Maybe they do swap deal for Gomes. Newcastle are also idiot for selling Elliott & Minteh. That Gomez & Gordon deal would have been better for Newcastle as both sold players are quality players and would have developed better under Howe. Gordon could have been easily replaced.
