Big ports require depth of at least 18M. Unfortunately, Vizag is the only one. The last climate change event rose the sea level causing a huge maritime loss for Bharat which South Indian Kings like Cholas and/or Bali to rule the seas.

Well done India. But India seriously needs another 22 mtrs deep sea trans shipment port. There are serious risks involved.
The opposition to it for years, strikers stopping construction, religious angles, locals demands, claims of destruction of local ancient port, claims of fish habitat destruction, claims of lively hood loss within abt 30 miles, other assorted anti talks.
It is always Democracy first but stopping national work, whether ports, highways, railways, is passé.

Transhipment ports naturally happens. Indian coastlines are generally shallow outside Kerala.

My only suggestion is when you talk about the names of Southern States places, you mostly get it wrong because it is not pronounced in the correct way. For eg... in this Video about Vizhinjam port, you are pronouncing is totally in an incorrect manner. I suggest you first find out about how they are pronounced and then make videos. This is a friendly advise and nothing else. I have learnt a great deal from your videos. Keep up the good work

Sir it is the fault of government. They can give this port's name as trivandrum internatianal sea port. As we know some of them can't pronounce vizhinjam correctly.

Sir, it's not pronounced वीझीनजम् actually it's pronounced വിഴിഞ്ഞം = विऴिञ्ञं. If you are not been able to pronounce this then at least you should try to pronounce it विलिन्नम् which is a bit closer to the actual pronunciation. 🙏
