Itō Jakuchū "Autumn Sparrows by the Pond" 伊藤若冲 動植綵絵《秋塘群雀図》

The 18th-century painter Itō Jakuchū created Dōshoku Sai-e (Colorful Realm of Living Beings), a series of 30 works depicting living creatures and flowers.
One of the pieces, Autumn Sparrows by the Pond, captures the moment a flock of sparrows descends.
