AMAM In Depth: Scholar’s Rocks

An overview of the Chinese tradition of scholar's rocks, this video centers on the AMAM's recently acquired White Scholar's Rock. The video was produced by AMAM curatorial assistant Ramzy Lakos, whose position was funded by a LIASE grant from the Henry Luce Foundation. It includes interviews with Kevin R. E. Greenwood, AMAM Joan L. Danforth Curator of Asian Art, and with Amanda Schmidt, Oberlin College Assistant Professor of Geology.
