  • A quick follow on from the last video. Sealing up the engine with the sump and its million bolts - the ones that never fully tighten! plus a final assembly of the front of the engine and timing; complete with some crank seal panic.

    Good milestone to have engine closed up and not a dirt trap anymore
    You'll be dreaming doing up sump bolts as a living :)

    Like the use of the torque wrench to ‘sense’ if there are any tight spots turning the engine over!!!❤

      Not sure how sensitive it is, but certainly a confidence booster.

    I just looked it up on Rennlist. The old style seal Sat flush. If the newer seal is thinner it gets a slight recess. It says having it on straight is more important than depth

      Thanks! that was my conclusion, hopefully its not sitting right on the old wear marks.
