We are about to open a Old Fashioned General Store! We can't wait to open and grow the farm!

This is really great! I grew up coming here. Thanks so much for putting in the labor it took to bring these videos to life. Looking forward to returning one day

Very interesting and well made video. I've been through Fairplay many times but never heard of South Park City. Wikipedia tells me that it is the name of the museum in Fairplay. Ahha! Will definitely come visit next time i drive through.

Must have been a few guns and knives there too. I love this, I will stop by to pick up some Ammo and sugar. It's going to be a long winter.

It was 1849 not '59, hence the term miner 49'er.

The 19th century was the perfect balance of convenience. The only thing I'd take back with me, if I could go, would be certain medical advances.

Wait! South Park is a REAL place ???

Yup, though last I knew there was nothing there but empty land but that was some years ago.

It sure is! Though it's not anything like the cartoon, I'm afraid. South Park has been a "real place' since the 1840s. There are several thriving communities which have been here since the Colorado Gold rush in 1859, some even longer. It's one of the prettiest places in Colorado! The Utes used this area as summer hunting grounds for thousands of years before it was named South Park . :)

Did they sell pocket knives and what did they look like? I’d love to see .
