- Here is a list we've compiled of the Twin Towers in video games. The Twin Towers were important cultural and symbolic landmarks, not only representing America and NYC, but also as a symbol that represented the idea of "American exceptionalism" (whatever that means) and were a huge cultural part of ourselves, so it's only natural that the Twin Towers would see MANY appearances in video games, just the same way they see MANY appearances in any art form such as movies, books, paintings, music and stories. In today's video we explore some of those appearances of the Twin Towers in video games. 🇺🇸 🎮

Driver Parallel Lines - PS2/Xbox/Wii/PC (Atari/Ubisoft, 2006/07) "It was in Driver Parallel Lines as well. That game is from 2006 so has the best quality of them. You can only see them when the games in 1978. It was in Driver Parallel Lines as well. That game is from 2006 so has the best quality of them. You can only see them when the games in 1978. When it goes to 2006, it just has fences around where they should’ve been then.

Driver Parallel Lines is the best old game, simply magnific gameplay, perfect 1978 soundtrack, awesome graphics for a 2007 game and espectacular details about twin towers in 1978 and 2006 comparison. Sorry for my english, that's not my native language, I hope everyone understood!

WTC was considered the symbol of America back then, alongside with statue of liberty. So no wonder every depiction of it tries to destroy those symbols. Osama bin Laden also said about destroying American landmarks and etc (the WTC)

Twin towers were also in Urban Strike (1994) one of them gets a hole blown in to it with a Laser Super weapon. Also in the backdrop on the Slums level of Final Fight (though its 'Metro City' and not NYC) and on the European Box art of Streets of Rage 3.

Lmao that game is awesome and super fun by the way, play it some time if you want a good one to play. It's 3 player (NOT 4 player) so grab 2 other friends and play with them maybe. The later levels you go into outer space and have to destroy all the alien civilizations and that's why it's called "Universal Tour". It rocks.
